My sister told me that taking certain supplements can mask particular things a blood test would look for (in this case a vitamin B supplement). I don't know if that is true, but it's certainly a reasonable question to ask.

Where does that diversion path come out at "this side" of the woods? Does that mean that there is access to all of the woods on that far side even though the bridge is closed, via the diversion path?

This is terrible. I'm one of the probably many people who have been watching the goslings grow up. I was walking past them yesterday afternoon, and it must have been not long before this happened. The goslings are quite big now, and one of the parents was watching over them from a little way off. I'm so sad to hear this. I hope the parent recovers quickly and all the goslings survive without her/him in the meantime.

Also the EDT is just generally a nicer pub, in my opinion. The main advantage The Cherry Tree has is its garden.

He has made the decision to follow the advice given by 111 and not to go anywhere where he would be mixing with people until he tests negative (which he still hasn't done. Tenth day now.) He realises the chances of transmission are small at this point, especially if he wears an FFP2 mask, but he doesn't want to risk infecting anybody else, however smnall the risk. He had symptoms initially, but has been symptom- free for a few days now.

The person phoned 111 again and this time actually got put through to a medic, who advised that he should not be around other people if still testing positive, so he is continuing to self isolate. ETA: The reason such a large proportion of the population now have Covid is precisely because all the "requirements" were taken away.

Can someone tell me what is the current situation, as the latest NHS advice (page last reviewed 14 April) is unclear, at least to me. If someone has had symptoms, but now doesn't have any symptoms at all and feels completely normal, but is still testing positive on the seventh day, do they have to continue to self-isolate? 111 refused to give any advice, on the basis that the person had no symptoms !!!! (It isn't me who had it, I'm asking for someone elae).

I also need to renew my licence. I don't have a current passport. Does that mean I can't apply online, because they don't have a current passport photo?

Sorry to be dim. I am also a "lone woman". I don't see the problem, if you complain about noise, with having someone come to assess the noise from your bedroom, if that is where it is disturbing you? Presumably you are not going to answer the door in your nightgown? 🤣
