  1. I still use Twitter to promote our gigs (@thegooseisout) but I never use it for anything else unless I hear there's an interesting (to me) thread on there.
  2. Might not have been a fox. Could have been a gang of snails 😂
  3. There are a load in Ulverscroft Road as well, with no indication as to why they are there!
  4. How do you know it was the same jay? 😀
  5. I can also recommend Tommy Rooney.
  6. When I lived out of London I had a family of woodpeckers visit the bird feeders, even though the house backed onto a wooded area where presumably they had access to more "natural" food. I used to have loads of starlings come to my present garden. However after one was carried off in great distress by a bird of prey, I never saw another starling. Weird.
  7. Good luck! I read the other day that some chef or other is cooking it and serving it to customers 😁
  8. Why don't you just go and talk to him about it?
  9. Oh no. He is a lovely cat, I hope you find him 😭
  10. Surely it just needed a bucket of water? Assuming there was nothing burning which would have been made worse by water?
  11. Yes there is a local pub which has this, but I can't remember which one either! 0% Guinness is brilliant. It actually tastes like the real thing 👍
  12. I'm a bit confused by all this. I'm with Plusnet, and to the best of my knowledge I have had fibre for ages. Am I missing something here? ETA: Sorry, as you were. Apparently I can upgrade to a different kind of fibre. Duh 🙄
  13. Forest always seemed very cramped, so it will be great for them to have more space.
  14. I went into Poundland just to see if anything had changed since it opened. It struck me that quite a few of the things they are selling can actually be bought a lot cheaper elsewhere, eg tea lights, so I'm unclear quite what is the point. I did buy a bright yellow dustpan and brush for £1.25. Bargain (if it doesn't disintegrate the first time I use it 🤣)
  15. Yes, that sounds right 👍
  16. You could try Argos at the big Sainsbury's. They will take electronic stuff for recycling even if you haven't bought it there, but I don't know about electrical things. You could try phoning them?
  17. Did the car not stop? Despicable, unless the driver did not realise they had hit something. Thank you for helping the cat.
  18. That'll be a no, then 🤣
  19. Or try the record shop in Camberwell Green that has replaced Rat Records. Cant remember what it's called, but the shop looks really cool!
  20. I think James Barber, who used to be a good and very active Lib Dem councillor until he was sadly voted out, had something to do with it. I may be wrong. I don't know if he still posts on here.
  21. Just seen a Red Admiral butterfly in the garden ❤️ First I've seen this year!
  22. Just one part of our new (ish) website is not properly copying over to the mobile version (text colour of some subheadings) in just one section. I can't find a way to edit just the subheadings for mobile - I can change the font colour for all the text in the section, but not change it just for the sub headings. There's no problem with editing the subheadings in the desktop version, but the editing isn't copying across. It has done it fine in every other part of the website. Can anyone help? I'm not very familiar with Wix. The specific section is the top part of this page: https://www.thegooseisout.com/faq The subheadings should be in orange on the mobile version, as they are in the headings further down the page 🙄
  23. What are the boundaries of the proposed zone/s, have they said?
  24. I agree that it did, and for a long time I avoided the restaurants for that reason, but if the recent deliveries we have had are anything to go by, it has got back to how it was when it started out. We have had three or four and they have all been very good.
