I thought it was good although the two newcomers playing rey and finn, are not brilliant actors by any stretch of the imagination. Agree with the comments regarding similarities with episode IV, I expected something a bit more original especially from JJ. Abrams.

I was in the cherry tree on Sunday 3rd and saw an appalling family sitting at a table by the bar area. their children certainly weren't asleep. they were running riot. one of the adults actually took a picture of said kids clambering over the bar stools oblivious to the fact this was seriously pissing everyone else off. Sorry to hear of your experience eliz01, I think would have let a sleeping baby stay but do generally agree with the no kids after 7 rule.

People who have prolonged conversations in corridors and on stair cases drive me up the wall. Also do not get me started on those who walk along whilst paying more attention to their phones than what's in front of them.

Is it true that the police advise unfortunate victims of bike and car thefts not to drive the vehicles if they manage to retrieve them? In case they've been tampered with? So sorry to hear of all these thefts, can't remember the last time I saw a cop on the beat.

Agreed, Time Out is nowhere near as good as it used to be, now just full of bland articles. Islington at number 3 is also confusing, it's a whole borough with certain parts I wouldn't send a Rottweiler into.

I think most people would've waited to see if the dog walker walked on by or picked up the offending article before saying something. Perhaps she had every intention of being responsible and clearing up.

jennys, yes i had the same letter. i wasn't told exactly why i was removed although 'having reason to believe i no longer reside at my address' was one several reasons stated. can't remember the others. thought it was strange that it was quite vague. i live on grove vale.

JC used to be my MP when I lived north of the river, and he was exactly what you want as a local representative; he was a visible presence in the community and genuinely cared about local issues but not so insular as to be unaware of worldwide issues. i'm inclined to agree with you entirely numbers but have refrained from saying anything up until now for fear of being labelled grumpy. it's not that i hate summer but i'm definitely not a shorts and t-shirts person, i just love being cozy in a nice jumper while downing a few ales or a guiness (pleural: guineeii??). i look forward to the onset of autumn...

I went to Salisbury a while back and thought it was terrific. Beautiful town and cathedral, cracking old and cosy pubs and easy access to rolling countryside. Preferably stay in the red lion hotel or the white hart.
