  1. Does lusting after Ally McCoist count as fantasy football?
  2. Or the frugal man's roasted pig ear?
  3. That's thirty lashes and vinegar to start with.
  4. Edited for technical reasons!

  6. ... but I've never been to me.
  7. Could we institute the ED Barfta Awards?
  8. Legitimate season October to January. Cured in my own urine - sure I can't tempt you?
  9. Actually Keef, on the premise that Taggart is better than Rebus, (and Rangers are better than Hibs) it would have to be Glasgow.
  10. There you go Chav, all it takes is a little distraction and no one's on your case, they are happy to squabble amongst themselves. Perhaps by Friday Ms Harman will have been forced to resign and a similar situation will occur - a good day to bury your story.
  11. Last time I looked MP, Dublin wasn't in Britain.
  12. "It failed to do so and Southwark Council told them it had to apply. They applied. Southwark refused to grant it on the basis that LL has a 50/50 limitation on the number of retail vs cafe, bars, restaurants etc... " How the hell did Chandelier get planning permission then?
  13. Trapped and skinned me an Ursus americanus - anyone want to snuggle up?
  14. Groan - but at least that's opened it up for bad jokes: Why did the chicken cross the playground? To get to the other slide. Boom, boom!
  15. I am completely happy to be guided - I know nothing, I'm from Peckham!
  16. Am I the only one who didn't like the Bourne film? It's one of my fave books that I love to reread and the film was so disappointing and somewhat off plot. ps - have seen the great Ry Cooder and he is brill but I think that's another thread!
  17. In the original TT? That's impressive. Or is there a good translation out to go with the film?
  18. "Its right up there with being the Iraqi Minister for Tourism" I'll have you know Baghdad is beautiful in April. I'm up for it 4, 4, 2 anyone?
  19. I have to confess to knowing a Christian apologist who has done 'Thought for the Day' [and she lives in Peckham!]. If it's any consolation she is very sweet and incredibly genuine.
  20. It is fairly ghastly - till queues are awful. Agree with Chav, Lidl is better.
  21. Birmingham Small Arms?????
  22. Keef mentioned: "A guide to recognising your saints". Does that include St Fiacre? Always amused me that there is a saint for piles.
  23. It's probably listing all by itself.
  24. Like Rubik's Cube but harder.
