I'm peeved that there was only one price band for the cross country section at Greenwich - well out of my reach. I've plumped for dressage, 100m heats and synchronised diving (the last under extreme pressure from my teenage girl). \don't expect to get any of them, and I certainly don't want all of them or my bank will be v. unhappy.

James, I don't wish to seem churlish, but the dangerous place to cross is East Dulwich Grove itself - I assumed the crossing would be on that road. I don't see how the proposed crossing in L.Lane makes crossing EDG any safer.

No, I'm suggesting you are the bigot because you don't tolerate others' views. If you genuinely think someone is wrong, you won't get them to change their minds by being insulting. I'm not sure yet which way I intend to vote. I am cowed by anything that smacks of a complicated mathematical formula which is what AV seems to me. I understand FPTP and am comfortable with it - possibly the lazy option, which is why I asked for simplicity.

Saw what I think was a Brimstone Butterfly gaily flying down Rye Lane. And from the fact that my cats have brought home six baby mice in the last week (leaving the choice bit of tail and back legs and little bits of bloody entrails for me to enjoy), I'd say it's nesting time. -
