  1. RyeSmile (great name btw) - if you go on the Southwark Council website they have a section which will tell you how to apply. Think the actual office is in East Street (off Walworth Road).
  2. Here's one for Katy T: some lovely marsh buttercups by the boggy bit on the Rye.
  3. Bad luck Quids. Still, we can have a few bets next season.
  4. I hear they are very effective at hiding the bald patch. Go for it.
  5. Well thanks, that's very gracious of you, but many a slip ...
  6. Good start. Not sure if that settles the nerves or makes them worse. Edited - in the time it took me to find this thread and type the above, another two have been scored. I guess I'll go for settled nerves and a smug face.
  7. Quality will out, Alan. Here's a right gudewilly waught for Walter Smith.
  8. I know this is wrong, very wrong, but I actually liked the Jedward effort. Also liked Iceland and Austria.
  9. It's probably the lesser spotted flapjackdavius.
  10. Excuse me, do you have a light, please?
  11. I managed about half a chapter of this before I threw it away in disgust. Bad grammar gets my attention but doesn't usually bother me. However, in a book that purports to be about correct grammar and fragrantly disregards the rules, it is nothing short of hypocrisy.
  12. Oh dear, your mention of Ronco has just catapulted me back to the seventies and the purple satin hotpants with cross-over bib that I proudly wore. BTW - nothing wrong with tank tops - darling Donny wore one.
  13. Don't know if something's been said or if it's just coincidence, but I've just seen a PCOS bod coming from Ondine Rd into Adys Rd. Somewhat reassuring.
  14. I'm actually a paraskevidekatriaphile
  15. I always preferred Follyfoot.
  16. I can speak wiz a French accent, NY-Ben. Will zat do? Bon chance avec l'amour.
  17. Don't bother - beer goggles are much more fun!
  18. *plans tunnel heist*
  19. What does B.R.E.N.D.A.N. stand for?
  20. House Martins in Adys Road - here every year. Their cheep is quite distinctive.
  21. Had great fun this afternoon. Sue - it's entirely your fault that I'm somewhat inebriated. Davide, if you are reading this, you rock! Bushel - light - under - hide or what?
  22. When was a daisy chain ever useful, and for what? Have you no soul woman?
  23. Isn't it your nap time, Brendan? Rocker all the way. Although I reserve the right to hum Who ditties.
  24. I'm going to Brendan's. His preprandial martinis must be strong - he's already repeating himself.
