Tough one! Daughter is in year 8 but youngest in class so just turned 12. Not travelling to school on her own and has just started on a couple of occasions to meet friends in the park for short periods of time. She?s not asking for more and we?re not offering!

I don?t think the police looks too hard into anything these days. You send them pics (and In my case video footage of a theft) and they don?t even get back.

It's all pretty common, I think... Like you I grew up abroad and struggled with the lack of information at primary school. It was difficult to get test results for example and all we got was meet/exceed standard. However, our daughter was aware she was sitting tests and did get homework from year 1. I don't know if it helped her with the transition to secondary school to be honest as the type of homework she got in year 7 was very different to what she was getting at primary school.

Well I would report to the police but don?t hold your breath. Police had the footage from our doorbell and potential ID and did nothing. They?re completely understaffed. If it?s the person I think it is, he has a string of convictions (something crazy like 30 or 40 including one for armed robbery so do not approach.)
