  1. Five stories! Really fits in with surrounding buildings then.
  2. Ha Ha...well I'm also sure that the lack of any appearance by the mother in that episode is the reason why Lund had to change jumper.
  3. Yeah but the old tram lines are about six inches under the old road surface, and completely decayed, plus they wouldn't work with modern day trams either lol. Ken livingstone did draw up plans for a tram network running from Camdem to Peckham, but thre was never any funding in place for it.
  4. Well I didn't see that twist coming in Episode 10 - Lund was wearing a different jumper!
  5. The stage at the Northern end of Rye Lane is now in preparation for resurfacing (the thames water works are in the final stage at the southern end). The reason the lane is entirely shut off is because the resurface is a deep one and as part of that the old tram rails are being removed too as they cause problems (breaking up the tarmac).
  6. Really I do....my footy team bought it for me for my birthday lol...I am a toffee girl...
  7. I have an Everton shirt with DJKillaQueen on the back!
  8. And some of us have no option but to drive to work....
  9. Absolutely shocking and nothing short of criminal given the amount of money involved and the dangerous state that home was left in.
  10. have made it a rule to venture further than where no man from East Dulwich has been before That'll be Iceland on Rye lane then! ;-)
  11. I think Seans advice is good advice. I'm having a clearout at the moment and will certainly do that when I start giving stuff away.
  12. OK...I think I'm going with Man City.
  13. I'd struggle to knit a pair of socks let alone a jumper.....esp one with funky danish patterns on it! I'd worry more for the Swedes, who will import said jumper as soon as the case is solved and Lund heads for their shores finally.
  14. I got it though :))
  15. HA HA....I have no idea what you could possibly mean :))
  16. OOH secret pm entires now....this is getting serious lol......... Make mine a chocolate bourbon then ;-)
  17. If someone is hungry and wants to eat then yes....it is a simple case of hungry predator and prey. Every civilisation and tribe has evolved like this. Even today....when you buy that meat at the supermarket...someone has to rear and kill it for you. What's the difference really? (bar humane vs inhumane methods of slaughter and animal rearing).
  18. Or go up in the cable car to see the fantastic views and then come down in it again (it will be enpty on the way down lol). Check the weather forecast first though. Poor weather can close in on the top of mountains very quickly and the cable cars can be shut at a moment's notice in poor waether.
  19. I'll wait to see who Annette picks before making my choice, plus it's a choice between two for me and I haven't made my mind up yet as 'I'm init to winit, init'.
  20. Hmmm...roast tarantula......now there's one for Franklins to try. Wonder what it tastes like?
  21. They usually blast snow of the higher slopes WOD or use snow machines to make some when short....but yes, the valleys tend to get iced up and are hard to ski on for beginners.
  22. I'd say two one hour lessons is enough to give you the basics.....how to ski with controlled speed and snow plough turn. It will give you a real head start before heading of to the ski school on the piste and you'll find yourself (as Loz says) skiing down a beginners piste by day three as opposed to still being on a nursery slope waiting for the no hopers to get to any kind of basic level (although the ski schools do tend to move you up a class if you get ahead of the others).
  23. Mrs B has the same view as I.
  24. Also there is 'snow-zone' in Milton Keynes. It's an indoor ski slope (real snow).....they do one hour lessons up to whole day courses. Go and do a couple of lessons there before you go to give you a taste of what to expect. Also go for a set of ski's one size down from what they'll give you for your height. Helps you when you are a beginner.
  25. Ha ha...how many hours did it take you to find those links lol..........?
