What IS detox? Doesn't make sense at all. Just eat healthily (and you don't need to be told what that means) for a few weeks and exercise a bit more than usual and you'll be fine. I do realise that means over Christmas. The body takes care of itself and gets all it needs from a good diet. Quite often too much of some vitamins and minerals (like you'd get in juicing) can be bad, or the body just chucks out the excess anyway! Wouldn't it be better to go buy new clothes?! That's what I've done. !!

Yes, that was back in the day when it was a service, a service to the community, and the postie was a respected and important part of it. Those days are gone. And I am over it. But I am not for this level of bullying, bad service, and the workers who do care (our postie is very kind and caring and pays attention) being paid less than the casuals, and the fact that the PO / RM is now a limited company aiming for profits. Even the Americans have still got a good postal service which is better than ours. Anyway, as I said before, talking on here about it won't sort it, so I wrote to Harriet. She'll sort it. Yeah, right.

Hi Bob, I have, and it doesn't. not here, anyway. Management does not care. One on four of my guaranteed next day Special Delivery items also is a day (or more) late. If we all wrote to our MP, that probably would not work either, but it was all I felt I could do, so I did.

jctg seriously, read the words. Casuals are not trusted to deliver parcels. Royal mail staff are treated appallingly by management, do as best they can but can't perform miracles, are paid less than the casuals, and then the public despair when things go wrong and blame the.... royal mail staff!

I remember this from a few years ago, something about the use of Casuals (who are apparently paid MORE than the regular staff) not being allowed to actually have the parcels they supposedly are trying to deliver because they're not trusted with them. This may be wrong but I am sure it is what a regular postman told me some time ago. We only get mail every other day sometimes because the managers are giving the regular guys so much work they can't fit it all in to one shift, they're not paid overtime, and they are giving unrealistic and unachievable targets. So they post it back. I wrote to my MP though. That should sort it all out.....

See, that's another reason why I would not want to go to the EDF thingies, aside from the fact I am a miserable bitch, I'd hate seeing the photos of me, and having to ask after they're posted for them to be removed.
