My mate was mugged once by a white guy with blue eyes. Someone else I knew, their mugger had blue eyes. Now clearly that means most muggers have blue eyes and all people with blue eyes are to be suspected. No, wait. Anyway, most drama teaches us more about the human condition than any of the cheap nasty tv shows like this one do.

Rod Stewart? Nice? My cousin's wife gave birth to ickle baby and when they looked and discovered it was a girl they were delighted as they wanted to call it Maggie May. So cousin was leaving the hospital after seeing his pride and joys and OMFG there was Roderickney Stewart walking through the car park. Cousin told him story and asked if he would be so kind as to either visit exhausted new mum, or at least sign his card. RS walked away not answering. For what ever reason Mr Stewart chose to ignore my cousin, they changed ickle baby's name to Alice. (Don't know why 'Alice'!) Still kd lang for me. Oh, and Clodagh Rogers. And Thom Yorke!!!!!!!!!

Nature (and, if you believe, God) doesn't pick the best people to be parents, clearly. So I think we should be subject to a common sense and kindness test before being allowed to breed... Just kidding. Or not - since I knew I would be an appalling parent!

Ah, I see, yes I misunderstood!

I was told to run away if strangers approached me! But this constant "unless you have had kids yourself" thing is a bit irksome. I am naturally very proctective of kids and am always aware and cautious when I realise I may be witnessing something troublesome. And have acted appropriately when occasions arise to call police / step in / protect, etc. It is clear in some very sad cases that make the news that nature does not choose the best people to be parents. Your story of not being able to have your kids walk thirty paces unaccompanied, should go in the new website where you can choose which laws to get rid of!

This happens most years and although I have not seen it myself I have seen the planes and the jumpers but not them actually landing, and I believe they have landed in Peckham Rye Park too on celebrations. Mighty exciting.

Ditto, I walked to my infant school and back alone, not dreaming to cross the main road at anything other than the zebra crossing. My Mum walked with me to begin with and taught me where to cross and so on. She trusted me and she was right to do so. She had to work to help with the income for our lives. But this story is daft and give us a link to where it was published or broadcast?

This exact same thing happened in Barcelona with Mr PR several years ago. A guy approached him in the main square and as his attention was taken someone came from behind and held his arms while the first guy stole his passport. He went to the police station and the police were sooooo blase as it happens all the time, and clearly as your sad posting proves, still does. He got a ref number from the police and spoke to someone at the airport and got home fine.

Awwwwwwwww ta. There are indeed some gourmet scratchings around and they are SO hard I broke a filling off. Maybe I should just go for the hedgehog flavour crisps... But champagne would be great.
