  1. Lord above Mine exploded in my trousers whilst I watched it... I got sticky tarry nicotine everywhere now... They need to be banned as it makes me want to vape with her.... And I don't smoke (well not since I escaped from the science lab that is)
  2. Ho Lowlander Thank you for the answer, the fact that you do or don't smoke isn't relevant but it's useful to know where you are coming from in this discussion concerning the question on should Vaping adverts be regulated in the same way smoking adverts are.
  3. I think he's more of a politician Seabag as he has ignored or failed to answer the question....
  4. Did you hear about the agnostic dyslexic insomniac He lies awake all night wondering if there really is a Dog !
  5. Oh dear If you haven't ordered one yet you are , as they say, "clucked"
  6. From the same site have a look at the increasing awareness by 11 to 18 year olds http://www.ash.org.uk/files/documents/ASH_959.pdf
  7. Hi lowlander, interestingly if you read the discussion by rahrahrah in the post above yours this is evidence that non smokers are taking up Vaping at a rate higher than your post suggests. Maybe you should post a link to the studies you have seen so people can see both sides of the argument? The issue is should the adverts be allowed especially as they make out it is cool or an advance in technology (although how they can compare Vaping to artificial hands is beyond me....) rather than is it better than smoking a cigarette
  8. I have seen a number of Vaping Adverts on television , on buses and other places and it has made me curious over why a product that contains nicotine, an addictive product, does not conform to the same advertising rules that tobacco companies have to follow. Admittedly its marginally safer than tobacco based smoking, however it's long term effects and risks haven't been established scientifically yet. Is it right that we should expose young people to the temptation via advertising rather than trying to steer them away from seeing smoking (in any format) as cool ?
  9. In the olden days they used to burn witches at the stake not confine them to the lounge... But of course this has absolutely nothing to do with Louisa's appeal (he says paws crossed)

  11. Maybe it's going to be used to lubricate his head so that he can stick it up his own backside to avoide the noise... Welcome back Fazer have you been away as its been a while since you mentioned aircraft noise on here 😎

Taste and opportunity has changed over the years leading to vegetarians feeling free to come out of the closet, openly flaunt their gay abandonment of meat and enjoying a good quorn sausage without the fear of arrest or public humiliation ( explains the lack of notices these days about faggots sprayed on doors of vegetarians.) Is this the sort of thing the bigoted old fart is objecting about... Or am I taking this the wrong way ?

  21. No idea to be honest but I could hazard a guess that they were responding to multiple calls of hooded kids terrorising the neighbourhood the night before ...

It has worked in other areas but not always... Hopefully in this case it will and with the night time economy already becoming more vibrant then I don't see it not
  23. Has to be one of their classics and deals with yesterday's WHO report on red and processed meat... "Banger out of order" Can it get better I ask ?
