Now BOB - that is what i am talking about - Big score there my friend. Brilliant. I concede he must be flaming mad let's all get our dogs and piss him to kingdom come, he'll need a little fabric boat to row out of there when we are finished.......CHARGE !!!!!!!!!!
-
i think you will find that the front part of the shop is just that part of the shop......a bit like your front garden if you have one or your paved over driveway if you live off LL. As for stopping it , your the one with the dog. " oops sorry i cannot serve you right now, that dogs glazing eyes tell me its about to let loose outside my lovely shop, i must don my safety bib and a bucket and stop it while its owner stares at cloud formations above LL.
-
Oh sorry bob i really thought you meant it. If you ever get that data together i would not mind a look though. One persons good business sense is another owners "take you 6 buggies and 4 glasses of water and 1 expresso out of my tiny struggling cafe as your making me go mental.....Ccccccccybil !! "
-
er.........right...........if you spend ?20000 in a small fabric shop in your locality then i thinks it is not him who is the idiot !
-
be careful paying no attention, you could wake up in a high street full of major chains, turned into a pedestrian precinct built up with giant speed humps and widened pavements for bus stops. so now wake up and go and get this dutch bike....chop chop....
-
mmm he's totally cool and very good at what he does. He probably does not like people standing in his shop for hours trying to work out how to spend ?2. I think if your dog pissed outside anyone's shop they have a right to be a bit stroppy - try it outside Moxtons or William rose's and see what happens.
-
Ok in order to stop ED becoming forced into an Arranged Marriage by the Holy Christ Minister of Clapham you must, i repeat must, do the following. Go out tomorrow and all buy some form of Dutch Bike, now get going, more instructions to follow. Oh yes and some Day Glo, anything Gauche and Bright.

Ahh now it is clear, truly the once prince of your art, mike at the ready near your pursed lips, from that position alone in the little Voice over box isolated from the general populace and the usual unencumbered friendships, your snowy poodles yapping at your feet, you suddenly decided that having made the move from the village of Cockermouth to Shepherds Bush that you would cement your status as traveller extraordinaire and move across the river. Well Done. Now what about the swings and should you really be hanging round them in a crushed velvet smoking jacket and a copy of petfood for princes rolled up under your arm ? -

Peckham Rye Childrens Play Area

I was actually talking about the playground as far back as 1996,97,98,99,2000,2001,2002,2003 etc try being on your own then in that park as Dulwich park was getting gold leafed. South London has been around a long time don't you know !! - not sure about posh side, self serving more like. Everything is in context as well, history has kind of developed that way. You know the multi nationals strip the natural resources unchecked for ever and we get Taxed for it in 2008. Joined up thinking or so i am told in the Sun. -
Peckham Rye Childrens Play Area

Now the park is far far busier, the authorities may well have taken notice. However now it is busier it feels less unsafe but far more cramped, probably why the kids spend more time in the bushes around the play area than in the area itself. Lets hope none of them go under the fence and into the stream. Quite clearly they have yet to venture past the Cafe and up the hill, If they did they would run a good risk of getting flattened trying to cross the, accident waiting to happen, that is the half arsed washed out, flashing bulb Zebra, roll the dice and close your eyes excuse for a crossing. I know this does seem miles away from East Clapham Gentrified Enclave but how about they do what authorites should do, be authoritative and save a life. Try crossing it yourself with children and you too might feel isolated and unsafe. Thanks and please come again. -

I heard they were upgrading the play area (positive) and putting it right near the Cafe ( doh ). Anyone any knowledge about this madness. Trying to imagine the chaos around Dulwich Park cafe if their play area was next door. -

Not aimed at you as you are just a series of digital configurations floating around the ether ! Olive oil, feathers, velvet masks, Military uniforms, brazil nuts & bronzed midgets, thats what i do for a living. If there were not bored husbands + wives then I too would be out of a living. So between the pair of us no direct experience of starting up a much needed boys school in ED. -
I think it is an interesting idea as well, shows how much money everyone has made in their property choices moving Sarf of the River !!

Can't wait till the school is built and you actually get to walk around it. Suddenly the bubble will burst and it will strike you that you never actually had the qualifications or aptitude to train as an architect. -
Duppytown? Which part of Dulwich is this?
AllforNun replied to macroban's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Champion Hill and Dog Kennel Hill (ish) (Duppy Town), Kinswood estate SE21 (ghost Town), (hence previous problems with Kingsdale school), Gipsy hill + Norwood, loose affiliation of groups, Musical affiliations, white bandana's and all that goes with it. -
.

How can you reject a walking site as too small ! - Peckham Rye is 3mins down the road for gods sake. The little area for dogs on the green in Nunhead is 20X15, and it is well used.

In an attempt to clear up the confused. 750 full time students, and 200 6th formers. Anyone who has attended 6th form will know it is a far more relaxed environment than being a compulsory pupil and there are lots of blocks of personal study time built in. translates as 200 pupils will not be using the school grounds, day in day out 6-7 hours a day. So really 750 physical full time. And hopefully 200+ 6th Form mentors around the place to give the kids some guidance. -

New Boys Academy - Judicial Review anyone?
AllforNun replied to AG_Old's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Lets hope not Kinsdale is really struggling - architectual wonderment or not. Dulwich park is also public but has seen a big increase in it's facilities and is used by numerous local schools. Also it has a horse riding track - anyone have a horse ? and it's 750 fulltime students not 950
