miga Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Loz Wrote: > -------------------------------------------------- > ----- > > Non-alcoholic wine > > Isn't that just grape juice? I like grape juice. NO.. Non alcoholic wine is made just like regular wine. The grapes are allowed to ferment and the wine is then aged just like any other wine. However, just before it is bottled, the alcohol is removed. The result tastes like wine but without the buzz. Foxy.

Monkfish now costs a fortune.. Pound for pound there is a lot of waste.... But at one time Monkfish was cheap.. You could not give it away. It has a HUGE head that does not appeal to most people. Fish and chips is still a relatively cheap meal to take away.. but was a poor mans food back in the 50's. Lamb shanks were once thrown away or available Free for the dog.. They are now pricey.. because it is a trendy high end restaurant food. Caviar was once peasant food. but now it is a luxury. Good nurishing bread was readily available and was cheap.. now it is called artisan bread costs a fortune. Same as craft beer... DulwichFox

Iceland was there for years and house prices have continued to rise evry year they were there.. Other issues are likely to cause house prices to fall like BRexit but with low interest rates that is good for first time buyers. DulwichFox

Breaking news of a Military Coup in Turkey... Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said a military coup attempt is currently underway and that military action has been taken without a chain of command, according to local media NTV. Yildirim reportedly said that the actions are only being taken by part of the military, adding that security forces are doing what is necessary to resolve the situation. NTV also showed footage at tanks at the entrance of Istanbul's Ataturk airport. This could be very serious... http://www.haaretz.com/middle-east-news/turkey/1.731225 DulwichFox

The inside area is vast... No doubt internal walls to be built.. Storage / Staff areas / Toilets. The floor has to be laid.. then the ceiling installed... Wiring /Lighting .... Air-con ... Fire alarms.. Power for the Fridges .. counters.. Tills.. Then the Counters themselves... Tills.. Electronics .. all will need testing.. Fire exits.. Signs.. Will be a while yet.. before they can start to stock up and finally open. The flats are just a frame.. will be while for them to be completed. DulwichFox

If Corbyn thinks he can win a Leadership Challenge, Why does he not prove it and get the necessary support like everbody else. If he does not have the support then he is not likely to win in the Challenge.. DulwichFox

Townleygreen Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Southend is sandy, Foxy Yes thats right.. I remember now.. When I was a kid 50's it was actually shingle not pebbles... May 2010.. THE Three Shells Beach in Southend has received a makeover with a hundred tonnes of fresh sand. Lorries made the mammoth delivery today, timing the operation carefully when the tide was at its lowest ebb. Those spreading the sand then had to work against the clock to ensure it was evenly distributed across the beach by the time waves reached the shore once again. The project has been funded by Philip Miller, owner of The Three Shells Beach Cafe http://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/local_news/8171980.Southend_beach_gets_tonnes_of_new_sand/ It's Brighton that has pebbles..
