So I voted to leave... Does that make me a Racist.. Many of you do not know the meaning of the word. In spring 1978, 100,000 people marched six miles from Trafalgar Square to the East End of London (a National Front hotspot) for an open-air music festival at Victoria Park in Hackney organized by RAR (Rock Against Race)and the Anti-Nazi League, to counteract the growing wave of racist attacks in the UK. I was there.. I was pelted with bottles along the route in my part of stamping out Racism.. I took part in Gay Pride marches despit not being Gay. So do not dare suggest for 1 Minute I am Rasist, xenophobic, Homophobic, Sexist. DulwichFox

It's more like getting > 40% off a ?1000 television, and then telling > everyone you paid ?1000 for your TV. It's a lie. Dont see the connection.. but along the same lines Its like paying ?53 ffor a t-shirt marked down from ?75.00* and thinking you have saved ?22.00 when its only worth ?6.00 *Based on actual sale prices from Lordship Lane out let over last couple of weeks. Like you think you have a good deal. and Dodgy Dave telling us he has managed to get us special status in the E.U. Now that WAS a lie.. DulwichFox -

Louisa.. My decision was partly based on the Lies and exagerated scare mongering of David Cameron and George Osborne. It was disgraceful .. Effectivly the ?350m is correct. It's like your wages.. You get what is left after Tax. National Insr. & stoppages. The ?350 is a figure that is ring fenced. We are then told where we can spend some of it. There is about ?61m left which is like a fee for Brussels to do the paper work. Thats it in its simplest form.. I did not want this in 1975.. This was the 2nd chance.. this WAS the second Referendum.. Do not feel bad about it. Foxy -

WorkingMummy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- It't the first time in 40+ years that any P.M. has had to make any decision for themselves.. Brussels has done that for them... and No prime minister has done anything for 40+ years without EU say so???? are not the same thing.. Under the E.U. the rules were laid down and the any UK P.M had there hands tied. Now they have to think for themselves. Makes it more difficult . So Cameron resigns. Foxy. -

Of course there is Panic and comfusion.. It't the first time in 40+ years that any P.M. has had to make any decision for themselves.. Brussels has done that for them... Now we just need to listen what the U.S tells us.. Having The US and Brussels was like having 2 Anti-Viruses on your P.C. Conflict. Foxy. -
Go to Peckham Iceland. Buy a few Iceland bags.. and use them in M&S.. Would make me feel better. :) Foxy

The economy is crashing, the Union > breaking up and we are about to be torn a new one > by the EU negotiating team. > > You think that was in the interests of the > country? It's only been 36 hours.. The economy is always up and down. Do you not remember 2008 ? The Union breaks up.. That's good. Everyone can just get on trading together without Brussels interfering.. Look at the positive side for the future.. Look what can now be acheived. Come on.. you know me. It's not often I feel so positive about anything.. Foxy

The attitude of the European Connission .. like get out quick.. indicates to me they are happy to see the back of the UK. Last thing Brussels wants is for the UK. to renegotiate.. We were only ever a 'Token' member. Not many people 3 months ago would call themselves European.. They would be British.. English.. not European.. But now Shock Horror.. they are all Frigging Europeans.. DulwichFox

I did not vote out for personal gain. I would like to live in Turkey but I am restricted to 90 days each year.. I would like to see Turkey join and that would of allowed me to live in Turkey. ..But an opportunity to leave the E.U. was more important to the benefits of the U.K. than my personal wishes. I acted selflessly in the interests of this country.. DulwichFox

FFS.. I never said that or suggested that would happen .. I said we are lucky to live in a country where we have a fair system.. unlike some countries where there is no such system. Like .. Syria.. Iraq.. Libya.. many more.. Many African nations.. If we backtrack on any democratic vote that does not suit some individuals we lose our democracy.. I suspect there are those not willing to embrace democracy and the outcome of any democratic decision that does not suit them. DulwichFox

NOBODY questioned the referendum voting system when it seemed very likely that Remain would win.. Cameron would NEVER of set up the referendum if he had not believed the same... Complacency and smugness lost out. Get on with it.. DulwichFox

I travelled to France... Switzerland.. Italy... Austria ... Holland... Germany East/West .. All before the E.E.C. / E.U. existed.. There is no indication that myself or anyone else from the UK will face any restrictions after leaving. There will be a need to show ones Passport and some security checks but with the current threat of terrorism across Europe, that's hardly a bad thing. The Paris tragedies were thought to of been possible due to no travel restrictions between Belgium and France. DulwichFox

We are lucky that we live in a Democracy.. Where we have a voting system that is fair.. There are Dictatorships where Elections are rigged and there is no real chice.. People that vote 'the wrong way' dissapear. Thousands died in Chile under the Military Dictatorship of General Pinochet (1973?90) 8,000 people were held in a stadium where they were .. tortured and murdered. Victor Jara https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%ADctor_Jara Is this what people want.. This petition will go nowhere.. and God help us if it ever did.. DulwichFox

The rest of the E.U. should be panicking a lot more than we should be.. and I think they probably are. Brussels now needs to find someone else to off load all the sh**e on.. The rest of The E.U. are bricking it. DulwichFox

You're more deluded than I > thought. No I don't. But we now know who is to blame.. Someone will be accountable and we can vote them out. Unlike the faceless mob in Brussels we had no control over. It's all about having control.. If you get my drift..

Ok.. So you have toothache.. and it will not go away... .. You go to the Dentist and he removes your bad tooth.. .. The next morning your mouth is swollen and the pain seems worse.. .. BUT very soon your mouth gets better.. Your rotten tooth has gone.. ..We should be looking to a very bright future.. Schools for our children.. Hospital beds... Affordable Housing. UK laws without the bureaucracy from Brussels. UK taxes not influenced by Brussels. DulwichFox

Declare London independent from the UK.. and apply to join the EU. Then Declare East Dulwich independent from the London..and apply to leave the EU. Then Declare EDF Forumites independent of East Dulwich and apply to join the E.U. Then individual members of The EDF can apply to Leave the E.U. Perhaps all People could have individual membership of the E.U. Say like you pay ?5,000 a year for membership. and then get all the benifits .. like free unrestricted travel. and err.. um .all the other benifits. Foxy
