Springs to Mind.. You're the one we voted for, so you must take the blame For handing out authority to men who were insane You say its all fixed up now, you've got new guys on the line But you had better remember this while you still got the time Mothers still are weeping for their boys that went to war Father still are asking what the whole damn thing was for And People still are hungry and people still are poor And on this week of work these days don't feed the kids no more Arlo Gutherie - Presidential Rag http://www.lyricsfreak.com/a/arlo+guthrie/presidential+rag_20295552.html

Any idea? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I blame foreigners for nothing.. I'm happy to use Polish , Hungarian , Black workmen in my home.. I'm happy to eat / drink in any restaurant and be served by people of ANY ethinic origin. I'm happy to be seen to my any doctor / nurse what ever their nationality I welcome skilled people who have something to give.. This country depends on them.. So DO NOT play the race game with me.. I'm not a fan of Farage or Johnson. I'm certainly not a fan of Cameron who also threw his toys out of his pram when he did not get His own way and bottled it when he is the Leader (PM) and should of stayed on and dealt with things. And as for Corbyn.. ? FFS. we need to get rid of the lot of them... No wonder Brussels was able to walk all over us... There is no one out there with any balls.. DulwichFox

The UK has been going down the pan for years.. not a week.. Now.. for the first time we can put it right.. Our laws.. Our rules... ..and I do give more than 2 shits (as you eloquently put it in your usual manner) about the future of MY country. DF.

I made my mind up in 1975. This recent referendum (in my mind ) WAS the second referendum and a chance to put things right after 40+ years of E.U rule. We gave it a good run.. but it wasn't working for Britain. DulwichFox

Well he helped to get people thinking... He helped to get people talking.. As did Boris. They helped to bring about the Biggest turnout in history .. to vote.. Other wise we would of just plodded on as we were for ever.. So whether or not Brexit goes ahead.. There will be a lot more discussion.. and things WILL change.. The UK will have more say and.. 'We wont get fooled again..' DulwichFox

It has only been 1 week and the Pound has stregnthened a little. It fluctuates hourly.. Too soon to jump to any conclusions. The weak pound against the Dollar is good for American Tourist to the UK. and those Guys spend Money.. Foxy.

Yes I realised it had been moved. From the same article that I posted.. Indeed I think you are correct. I should of read further down I just had it in my head It was the Charing Cross Station. Lou.. Congrats on you new Forum freedom.. There are those who will use events like The referndum, Football matches, Peaceful demos to cause trouble.. These people are not going to get much support from the majority of leave campaigners. It is shocking that we have these people in our society but like I said, they have always been there in the background. It's important to put these people in their place when you hear racist, sexist, homophobic comments. Confront them.. People do and thats why the racists generally keep quiet when on their own.. We now have a good oportunity to build a stronger UK. and to build close relationships with all UK residents whatever their colour, race , creed. We are free to build new trade deals with the rest of the world. Staying in the E.U. would mean nothing would change. Its now a time for change. A difficult but exciting time lays ahead of us.. but we now need to pull together. DulwichFox

My old mum was a fan of M&S in Bromley.. She did not have a lot of money. Iv'e still got some of the old black canvas M&S bags... But I simply must pay them a visit with some Iceland bags.. after the initial histeria has died down. When Tescos used to give points for each bag you brought with you.. They refused points because I had some Sainsburys bags. The new store might be wake up call for the dreadful Co-Op to make some changes.. Foxy

Does this > mean you will do likewise?... The Leave campaign were never in a position to give the NHS ?350m only the government can do that and both major parties Lab & Con were for remaining.. I never suggested that that money could be used for The NHS I was opposed to handing over ANY money to Brussels. When people talk about Fare Dodgers costing TFL Millions of pounds a year .. Money they say could be spent on new buses and Trains. We all know that money would never actually be spent on Buses and Trains.. Foxy
