You said > anyone could sign it and it was meaningless. But > fraudulent votes are being discounted. Which means > what? It's meaningful? Alan.. I do not want to dwell on the matter. The point is that it was pointed out by people in a higher status than myself that there was scope for fraud. It was investigated and 77,000 votes (so Far) were found to be fraudulant. As I understand it. David Cameron has stated .. the vote was clear.. he resigned on the stregnth of that and has said there is no chance of a second referendum. I do not think he would of resigned if there was the slightest chance the decision could be reversed. The Tories will have a leadership challenge .. I think labour might do the same... There will probably be the need for a General Election and hopfully people will accept the outcome of the Election. Elections are not a simple Yes/No In/Out situation with more than 2 options and there needs to be a sizable Majority. So there may be another Coillition but I dont think so. DulwichFox

For centuries this country has invaded / attacked / Colonised other lands from the Crusades ... to Iraq.. We are no Saints.. I have no desire to be separate from Europe... I just do not want my country to be ruled by Brussels. in the same way some people choose a labour government and some choose a Conservative government .. or other.. There could easily of been a system of Unity across Europe which did not have the Dictatorship if Brussels. WTF does Brussels contol everything ? Because weak spinless governments here and elsewhere have let them get away with it. Fox

Block Boris Johnson..for everyone's sake..!
DulwichFox replied to Lordship 516's topic in The Lounge
It is a HUGE mistake to think of Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson as a Clown. 'Boris' is a well educated man and a lot cleverer than David Cameron.. We have all long known his ambition to become The U.K. Prime Minister and he will most likely acheive that ambition. Alexander (Boris de Pfeffel) Johnson Born in New York City to upper middle-class English parents, Johnson was educated at the European School of Brussels ... How ironic is that.. Perhaps he knows something we all don't. DulwichFox -

As for O.D.D. My boss once said. Bad Points **** will never let the subject drop and will continue arguing his point ... Then he said.. Good Points **** is a good engineer. He will never give on any Technical Problem until he finds a solution. Yep I am tenacious. That is true. From Twitter Petitions Committee @HoCpetitions We have removed about 77,000 signatures which were added fraudulently. We will continue to monitor for suspicious activity. 2:46 PM - 26 Jun 2016 In isolationist North Korea, one of the least internet-connected countries in the world, 23,778 people had apparently gone online to express their frustration at the UK?s decision to quit the EU. This Petetion really is meaningless. Anyone can sign it.. Is this the way people want elections to run if they do not get the right result. ? Foxy
