  1. Poison kills them slowly.. They also become partially paralised before they die and will sit in the open in your kitchen unable to move. This means pets can easily catch them and get poisoned too. Also Foxes can catch them and get poisoned.. Avoid poison.. Use traps. Dispose of them in 'Green bin' double bagged.. DulwichFox

Crystal Palace Rd. is a long road running North - South. Depending which end you live, there may well be a Temperature Differential. With the mild winter I saved ?190 off my Gas Bill Oct. 2015 - Apr. 2016 when compared with thw same period the previous year DulwichFox
  7. Traps are better and you know when you've got one. The poison is more cruel.. They eat eat it for days and eventually die slowly under your floor boards where they stink to high heaven for several weeks. They attract blue bottles who lay eggs and you get dozens of the little B's. in your house. DulwichFox

  13. If your lease says.. No wooden flooring and you go ahead and install it at great expense... .. you may find the lease holder will insist that you remove it... at more expense. Some flooring for Kichens require it stuck down to prevent water seapage.. taking it up may well damage the actual foor and you will have to pay for that too. DulwichFox

KidKruger Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I read that most moths actually walk about, not > fly. > Only a small % apparently fly from A to B. That's right.. Like I said .. Any clothes moths fluttering around the house are probably males, because females travel by either running, hopping, or trying to hide in the folds of clothing. They must travel or no one would ever get them.. Once you have them.. they are very difficult to get rid of.. Foxy..

The point I make is an important one.. The larval period lasts 35 days to 2 1/2 years. So you kill all the moths.. Then later you are infested again.. This is why people say. 'We had them 2 years ago. Was all ok last year.. and the little buggers are back again.. Foxy

The moths are not responsible for the eating of materials.. The females lay 50 eggs then die. Foxy

Strangely enougth it's not themoths that do the damage... ...The larva is the damaging stage of the clothes moth. The larval period lasts 35 days to 2 1/2 years. There are 2 types of clothes moth. 21. The plans show a seating plan.. Any branded chain would have their own seating plan that fits in with their layout style. Looks like M&S killed off Iceland and now looks to of had some influence on the closure of Londis. Anyway this is the Sweaty Betty thread so off topic.. DulwichFox

Just my luck. You cannot compare capital Cities with just Peckham... Peckham is a district of our capital City London. I would not suggest Central London as being dead.. I would think that most of the worlds Capitals also have districts that were one grand and now distressed. There are certainly many Towns up and down the UK which were once Grand and now distressed Many of them Sea-Side resorts.. Foxy.
