Dulwich Medical Centre (not) Closed down
DulwichFox replied to Marshia25's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
They sometimes close for 1/2 day for staff training sessions.. They have 100's of registered patients.. I cannot see it has closed without warning.. ?? DulwichFox -
HSBC Dulwich Branch Is Closing
DulwichFox replied to Dulwich Born And Bred's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It is true that most people in The EDT and Bishop seem to pay for drinks with contactless cards.. Even for one drink. Strange too that when asked if they would like a receipt most decline. They have no idea how much they are spending. Some of them do indeed have beards. lol. :) It suits pubs and bars as they don't have to hold too much cash on the premises. I always pay with cash for drinks and meals.. But then I don't have a beard. :) Foxy. -

Have downloaded and run Malwarebytes.. No Malware. 297 Non- Malware - Potentially Unwanted Programs - PUP.Optional.Conduit (Quarantined) Note. PUP.Optional.Conduit it?s technically not a virus, but it does exhibit plenty of malicious traits, such as rootkit capabilities to hook deep into the operating system, browser hijacking, and in general just interfering with the user experience. The industry generally refers to it as a ?PUP,? or potentially unwanted program. The PUP.Optional.Conduit infection is used to boost advertising revenue, as in the use of blackhat SEO, to inflate a site?s page ranking in search results. I have changed my router's SSID and p/w. Will see if my unexpected high broadband usage calms down Foxy

Kim Jong-un has stated his intention to attack the West and the UK. Whether he currently could or ever would is another matter. I don't know the range of his missiles and Western powers are not sure so Googling would be futile. Certainly China's weapons could reach most parts of the Globe, and that was the point of my post. That being, why we are trading with a country who is an ally of North Korea..? Sometimes More Wisdom comes out of some peoples ar**s than other peoples mouths.. DF.

Can you do a one off run with Malwarebytes without the 14 day trial. ? A lot of these things you cannot easily get out off.. Foxy.

So we close all out Steel Works and buy Steel from China... (also kerb stones) We have China investing in our Nuclear program. David Cameron wants to do more deals with China despite China's record on human rights.. China is also an ally to North Korea who is threatening the West and especially the UK with Nuclear Weapons.. Don't worry Dave knows what he is doing.. DulwichFox

Hi Loz.. Thank you for your help.. Supposedly I have used 14G so far this month.. I use ESET NOD32 A/V 8 and also Webroot Secure Anywhere (Full Version) for Malware detection. So should be ok on that front.. Have not seen any unknown connections to my router.. Just my own devices.. Foxy.

BUT he is still selling sugary drinks with a 7p levy.... so still affecting peoples health and teeth.. Put the Levy on sugar free drinks.. and donate to the same cause. Educate people.. they will get used to sugar free food stuff. DulwichFox

The problem is that the element of those who carry knives know that should they get caught with them and arrested, when it come to going to court they will receive no more than a slap on the wrist and 80 hours community service. There is no deterrent.. Falter on your Council Tax and you get banged up.. DulwichFox

It would seem to me very likely that the contractor responsible for the damaged to the pavements will be Awarded the contract to repair them. Can't lose can they. DulwichFox -
Jamie Oliver and his campaign on sugar.. He recently said He would be adding 7p to all sugary drinks sold in all of his restaurants in a bid to reduce consumption of such drinks.. Well that's just profit... ? Isn't it. ? Why doesn't he just cut out Sugary drinks and replace them with Sugar Free drinks. ?? Think it's just Oliver on another one of his 'promote me' campaigns. Crafty.. DulwichFox

But I fail to see any connection with the original Lady Venetia Digby by Van Dyck, painted in 1633. Perhaps you have to stand a stare at it like those Hidden 3D picture books that were popular 10 years ago or so. ? Foxy

What is the Dulwich Estate doing to our pubs?
DulwichFox replied to The Dulwich Raider's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I doubt very much if The Grove Tavern could ever sustain itself as a Pub or Pub/Restaurant in todays climate. Its simply in the wrong place. Was ok back in the day when drink driving was a lot more relaxed. Which explains why there is car parking for 80+ ? cars. The Crown & Greyhound (Once two pubs) Could possible survive as a Pub.. I'm not too sure who would stay there if it became a hotel. Too far from central London ?? ..and a bit isolated with poor transport links. The Half Moon was always a popular Pub and good Music Venue. (Steve Waller. God bless him) It has better transport links with a Train Station. Not sure about it being a Hotel.. Perhaps in Victorian times with the coming of the Steam Railway. DulwichFox -

Worth a read Trees can be an attractive addition to any garden and provide homeowners with privacy, but it's important to be aware of the impact they could have on your home insurance. Insurance for homes with trees nearby Homeowners with trees in close proximity to buildings won't necessarily find their home's insurance premium any costlier, or the process of taking out insurance any more complicated. http://www.gocompare.com/home-insurance/trees/ DulwichFox
