I did not say Mr Ben suggested I hid behind my Computer, I said it had been suggested in the past.. I've even posted my photo in the past few weeks... Most of the people I have met with many more posts more than myself are very different than the way they come across here.. They are mostly reluctant to talk about anything when you actually meet them without having someone close to hand to back them up. It is worth noting that 60% - 75% of my posts are of a technical nature offering help and advice. People asking for help with local amenities.. Also posts offering items that people have requested either free or for a small fee. Curry club posts.. The regular set are not often seen in those areas... Very few posts concerning other posters unless in response to personal attack. DulwichFox

I was at El Pebe's leaving do where I met many people and they in consequence met me. I'm a regular at the Curry Club so people there know me. I'm out every night but strangely there are very few Forumites I have met whilst out and about despite being a so called 'Social Butterfly' I do not hide behind my Computer Terminal as has been suggested in the past. PS. I do not much like Olives. Even Free ones. DulwichFox
  3. Far too much talk and discussion in this thread and other threads about other EDF members by people who either don't know them or have never met them. What gives anyone here the Devine right to pass judgement on other EDF members. I strongly suspect there are people out there who's ears will be burning. DulwichFox

They are dotted notes.. Reading the dots gives you the duration of the Note.. Foxy
  5. People in The EDT who move their table and chair in front of the fire and sit there for an hour or so with their a*se in the flames whilst sipping on a pint of tap water... Selfish sods... DulwichFox
  6. Dot notation ... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/f/fb/Dotted_notes3.svg/190px-Dotted_notes3.svg.png Example 1. Dotted notes and their equivalent durations. The curved lines, called ties, add the note values together. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dotted_note You may of heard the phrase 'Read the Dots' Well you need to know about The Dots to read sheet Music.. 9. Whilst attempting to drive at <20 MPH I find myself constantly looking down at my speedo to check my speed thus taking my eye off the road... It is much easier to judge 30 MPH.... been doing it for 40 years Just a thought. DulwichFox

  13. Certainly more people seem to be taking the advantage of the 20 MPH and darting across the road feeling it is now safe to do so. .. and not using the crossings. With cars travelling closer together there is likely to be more rear end shunts due to people doing so. Also cyclist tend to ride faster than 20 MPH. They pass me on the inside all the time when I am out driving. DulwichFox

They also have Diesel Engine Sets and Rectifiers that provide power during any outage and also to charge the batteries. In my days as BT Power Eng. 2 50volt batteries (Open Cell) at 3,200 amp/h would be charged at 200 amps @ 16 hour rate.. Foxy
