Hi Louisa.. I think you and I should open a restaurant. ;-) Foxy
-
Excuse me for being Old Fashioned.. People suggesting that a new restaurant in that area would flourish because of the 'Planned Cinema'. Somewhere on EDF I do seem to remember that people going to the 'Planned cinema' would 'Deffo' be going to the new pub, The Lordship for a drink before show. Well, as the 'Planned Cinema' is going to have a 'Planned Restaurant / Bar' they might have different ideas. Perhaps Early Bird pre show deals. Businesses should be able to stand alone and not rely on other businesses. DulwichFox

I have more details now.. Yes it is a Cycle Hanger... The copy I have is a copy of a copy and is not clear but it looks like it will be located outside 50/52 ?? Ulverscroft Rd. Evidently the hanger has been requested by a local resident and will house 6 bicycles. The spaces will be available to rent for 'a small fee' ? First come first serve . I cant see why anyone would want to park their bicycle in a back street residential road so far away from the station. Perhaps I'm missing something. Why haven't all residents been informed about this scheme. ? DulwichFox

A Neighbour of mine on Ulverscroft Rd. has told me he has received notice of Parking Restrictions and that parts of Ulverscroft will be dedicated to Bicycle bays.. with an option to raise any objection. I have not received any such notification and wondered if anyone else had. ?? It does not seem plausible.. DulwichFox

When it was Andreas's it was a Greek shop and was owned by relatives of a guy I used to work with in Telecoms. It is a great place and is indeed a rare example of a LL business actually flogging decent stuff. Very helpful and friendly and unpretentious. DulwichFox P.S. Bet no one comments on Foxy being positive.

There are alternatives Nescafe have several Turkish varieties which may be more palatable too some. Just don't ask for a Greek Coffee in Turkey. It's a big insult. DulwichFox

I had a leaflet put through my door about Registering to vote... Well I did not think it applied to me as I have lived at my address for 19 years and have always received my Polling Card .. and paid my Council Tax.. ... But it would seem everyone still has to re-register to be on the NEW System.. It only takes 5 - 10 mins. You can re-register at http://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote Would be a shame to miss out on your right to vote with so many wonderful options to go for . DulwichFox

The BBC is a Global name well respected around the World. It cannot be seen to be Demonstrating Double Standards... If a less prominent employee were to punch someone it would be instant dismissal. No questions asked. Clarkson is a vulgar A**ehole. His comments only funny ? to those of similar 'Could not give a s**t about anyone else ' attitude. I used to enjoy the programme but it started to become 'Sameish' and unbeleveable. It was a bit of a stop gap for me on a Sunday night whilst waiting for Pub O'clock time. Can't say I will miss Clarkson. Can't see the programme returning to our screens. DulwichFox

You don't need to be high up. The Sun is 93 million mills away.. an extra 200ft nearer is not going to make much difference.. Just do not look at the Sun directly unless you have an eclipse viewer which has the CE mark DO NOT use binoculars or a telescope. DO NOT use Sun Glasses.. even multiple pairs are not safe... Stay safe.. other wise the Eclipse might be the last thing you will ever see.. Foxy
