I am DulwichFox or Foxy (Depends on subject matter) Fox is fine when used affectionately / or when expressing agreement... IE. 'Yer that's right Fox' but not when used derisively.. It's like how you should address anyone on the forum. With respect. Even if you don't agree with their view. DulwichFox

What are you talking about... ???? I have written only positive posts about the French Caf?.. That I like the place and I am disappointed its changing. It's MY preference... .. and don't call me Fox. Not a Caf? type but recently tried the French Caf? have been a couple of times since.. I really like the intimate surroundings and compactness.. The simplicity. No buggies. .. and now it's moving to what I assume is a larger ? space.. ? Shame :( DulwichFox

Bus Route 12 to get Boris Buses
DulwichFox replied to Bic Basher's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Air Con does not work efficiently when windows are open.. so that's why they don't open... Vehicular Air Con also uses more Fuel and increases running costs. So will only be used in extreme cases. That's the long and short of it. DulwichFox -
I would recommend Warren Evans... Nearest branch Camberwell They make Handmade Beds and Mattresses... up to Super King Size I have 2 of their beds.. They are expensive but are real quality... I'm told Madonna uses their beds. ... but I would not know that.. https://www.warrenevans.com/?tid=WAWAR111610697Phrase&gclid=CMCsiuyuhcUCFczJtAod43MA-g DulwichFox

Brookside was the first British soap to feature an openly gay character when Gordon Collins came out in 1985. In 1994 we saw the first pre watershed lesbian kiss. Anna Friel (Beth Jordache) and Nicola Stephenson (Margaret Clemence) kissed up a storm on 'Brookside' At the time this was quite controversial. All the soaps are now competing to see who can appear be the most liberated... It does seem that Gay scenes are sensationalized in the way they are portrayed. In the seventies The Campaign for Homosexual Equality (CHE) fought to highlight Gay Rights there was very much an atmosphere of Theatre on the many marches that were organised at that time. Gay Men and Women were out to publically show their Sexuality with open embracing and kissing. Times have changed though there still exists Homophobia in our society, I believe things must be a lot better than in the past. (Not in all countries of the World) The Soaps seem to be living in the past if they think that screening a Gay/Lesbian Kiss is going to boost ratings and draw in millions of viewers as it did 20 years ago. I was confused because of Jah Lush's comment :- After Shaila had been refused entry despite having seemingly transferable membership and also spare tickets being available. DulwichFox -

Must admit I'm a little confused here.. but seem to be getting the picture. (No Pun intended) So ... Unless someone becomes a Member they cannot gain access to this New East Dulwich Facility. I know I have not been to the Cinema for nearly 40 years but then I could turn up at virtually ANY cinema, buy a ticket and see any film that I wanted to see. I did not need to be a Member. Did not need to live in the area for years as some people have hinted should be the criteria to automatic right gain access. Trying to imagine Pubs and Restaurant adopting that approach. DulwichFox -

I have never seen any spiders Big or small. Its a mystery. Don't want to destroy it.. Looks like it took some 'creature' a lot of work to create. It's a real work of art. Foxy

Just use Photobucket .. You can up load your pics.. resize them .. cut and paste the code from FB into EDF. And its FREE.. DulwichFox

You can create any new laws and then fine people who break them. We seem to be a nation of fining people and the motorist is one of the easiest targets. I believe (just my personal PoV) that parking restrictions are as much to blame for businesses failing as are high rent prices. DulwichFox

Anyone know what this is... It looks like a Funnel Web Spider's web but we don't get them in the UK. It's about 5x3cm in size and sits between 2 sheds in my back garden.. It has been there for 10 ? years.. survives wind and rain and even the sheds being stained. It just seems to reappear. ! Googling suggests it may be the work of Labyrinth spiders. ?? Anyone seen one before ?? http://i860.photobucket.com/albums/ab167/mickdavies83/funnel_web_zps0uzcztdm.jpg DulwichFox

The Metal Thieves as the thread title suggests are going to have a field day when the council starts installing Bicycle Hangers Christmas every day :) DulwichFox
-
And what if some one comes along with a pair of Bulk Croppers.. They will be off with 6 bikes in 5 mins. Just attracts thieves.. Keep them safe in your house where they can be added to your home insurance for less than the hire charge. It may me a little inconvenient but in the long run I think it's worth it. DulwichFox

The mistake people here make is that they think / believe EDF categorically represents East Dulwich and the views of the residents East Dulwich.. Well it doesn't. It represents the views of a very small proportion of the residents East Dulwich.. ..and the views of some that no longer live here. Tessa Jowell syndrome. There are many people that have never heard of EDF, some that have but do not post here. They have their say too.. DulwichFox

I'm no saint on this forum but your > raison d'?tre here appears to be one of > outsmarting, one which perpetually fails. You are talking Bo**ox.. This is MY thread. I raised it on behalf of a neighbour who does not post here to get feedback on bicycle hangers. I had not previously heard of the scheme and it would seem very few people I have personally spoken to have not heard of the scheme or had letters through their doors to seek approval or disapproval. If you are having trouble with someone adding a bit of humour from time to time, you are in the wrong place. I find it sad that you need to join 'The Mob' in a vague attempt to appear popular.. ..without adding anything positive yourself DulwichFox

Well first the Tories have to win the General Election and then wait 5 years for Boris to become party leader and the Tories win the election in 2020 ?? And any way it would probably take 10 - 15 years to build if it ever went ahead. ... and Boris would have more important things to worry about. Like who to have a War with. ?? All Prime Ministers have to have Their own war. DulwichFox

Well on occasion (Quite regularly) they do literally fly directly over my house. If I'm indoors and the windows are closed I don't hear them. 'Double Glazing' The only time they ever wake me up is in the summer if I leave my bedroom window open. That is Very rarely. DulwichFox
