Well... Loosely speaking, a Vindaloo in one Indian restaurant is much the same as any other Indian restaurant. Sometimes it's nice to have a change. Foxy
  2. Ironic that equipment designed to be played on by children needs 10 meetings of bureaucrats to sanction the equipment as safe ... ...when children have been encouraged to play and climb on the new Pipe Sculptures which were never primarily designed for that purpose. Call me Old Fashioned.. Foxy

It only seems to apply to TV coverage.. Social media and Twitter are not affected but TV journalists cannot comment on things from Social Media. Will be lifted at 21.00 GMT 22.00 BST Foxy
  4. If you did not Reregister you may not be on the NEW list. I reregistered on line and received 3 separate letters by post :- Your registration has been received Your registration is being processed You are already registered and do not need to do anything. I later received my Polling Card. Depends if you confirmed your details in 2014 either by post or on line. DulwichFox
  5. Having watched on TV people being interviewed about who they will be voting for, I get the impression some people simply do not know what the Election is all about. People saying it's such a close call that they cannot tell who will win and therefore unable to choose who to vote for. You are not placing a bet on a horse. Looking for a winner. You are supposed to be voting for who you think will best represent your interests and needs and perhaps persuade others to vote the same. DulwichFox

  7. Jeremy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Is Eric Clapton still a nazi? I was at The Rock Against Racism rally 1978: Victoria Park April 1978 The march started in Trafalgar Square and spilled on to the Embankment. It was stated that when the head of the march reached Victoria Park there were still people leaving the square. I seem to remember some controversy about Eric Clapton following an incident in August 1976. Eric Clapton, the rock guitarist, interrupted a Birmingham concert to make a speech supporting Enoch Powell, the racist Tory MP. It was a great day despite being pelted with bottles outside the Blade Bone Pub Bethnal Green Road, Bethnal Green by the National Front. DulwichFox

Not needed for D.K. Hill. But then my revs go up from 2,000 to 3,000 DulwichFox

  18. I currently drive a 1.6 Ltr Ford with Auto Gearbox. At 20 MPH my revs are higher because my gear box drops a cog. So over a set distance I am burning more fuel for a longer period of time and creating more pollution. DulwichFox
