Well, don't say I did not warn people.. The acceptance of so called Street Art has encouraged other less talented artists to do their bit to brighten up the area. Lol. they are all at it. In most areas people caught spraying graffiti are prosecuted. Not in good old E.D. Here they are encouraged. Even rewarded. Graffiti lowers the general tone of any area. People start to dump rubbish. .. and where there is one little pile of garbage, it soon becomes a larger pile of garbage. Don't see fly tipping in Dulwich Village.. Don't see Graffiti in Dulwich Village.. WHY.. Well they do not encourage Street Art.. People have brought it on themselves... You now have to live with it. Simples... DulwichFox.

Adf.ly is not spam. ?? Well it could be. but not malicious. Could be an unrelated Advert. It is a service where people register for an account. They then issue a 'Short' URL to your site. All advertising is strictly family-safe with no popups In return you get paid a revenue based on visits to your site. $4.00 /1000 visits (Typically) Short or 'Tiny URLs' are useful in Twitter where you are limited to 140 characters. Have checked the link. Not an advert. just a link to the adf.ly website. Think they are suggesting The Ivyhouse could register. thus getting revenue when people visit the site. Also used in Magazines e.g. WebUser where they are used to Download Apps. So the App. developer gets a small amount of revenue. Foxy

So they are going to charge a 5p Tax for Plastic Bags. Estimated 8 Billion Plastic Bags per Annum. That's ?400,000,000 a year. Ok. Most bags are Bio-degradable so they can only be used a few times before the start to break up. But what is the real problem> Every Plastic Bag may contain... Let us say .. 10 items. Each item wrapped in Plastic, Cardboard, Whatever. Packaging is a much bigger issue than Plastic Bags. Packaging cannot be re-used. DulwichFox.

Looking at their website the prices would be far too cheap for E.D. They would have to Triple their prices if they set up shop here. Otherwise no one would go there. I mean..
