  1. It's a Scam.... ?500 P/W ?? Does anyone really believe you will get ?26k a year for delivering cataloues. ?? Their Website is just an HTML Form and gives no Details about the people you are dealing with. I'm not even going to put the link here. In Addition once you have replied giving your Name and Postcode. You could be inundated with letters for Get Rich Quick Scams.. As you would of been identified as someone in need of cash. Fox.
  2. I think most people must of missed the Small Print.. The bit about the Proposed M&S Helli-Pad for the Super Rich to 'Drop' in.. Now that really would be impressive. Can't see Icelands up-staging that one. Fox.

  6. What Huguenot said.. Sounds about right. Also. Do not clean your teeth and rinse from the cold tap in your bathroom if the water does not come from the mains supply. Fox.

  9. The Only thing that Southwark Council are strict on that they actually deal with is Parking Fines. They Never fail there. 100% But that makes them Money... Anything else is not so vigorously dealt with. That costs them money. Money we all pay in our Council Tax to deal with such problems. Fox. Fox.
  10. Jessica Ennis gold postbox in Sheffield vandalised with Grafitti. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-19177730 The Post Box has been repainted. Poor grafitti 'Artist' again being denied the oppotunity of Expressing themselves. Fox

Very Reasonable Comments.. There is space for a bit of everything.. As long as it does not become too Themed.. With your love of Real Ale it will be Refreshing to get a decent Pint. Other pubs in the area have no Idea how to keep it. Fox CAMRA Member .

Just Ask Pubs like the Clock what their > numbers are like when they don't have quizzes on > Tuesday Like I did. Funny that pubs have quizzes on different nights. Tuesday/ Wednesday/ Thursday. Surely a quiet night is a quiet night. Not diferent in every pub. If Thursday is a quiet night, why does The Great Exhibition want a late night extention. Fox
  14. the-e-dealer Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > But they have the quizzes on their quiet night. > Its a way of getting some extra business. But it's quiet because non quizzers stay away and the quizzers do not spend any money.. The Bishop/ Actress do not have quizzes and they make money. Fox.
  15. Quiz nights are not nessescary good for business.. Music needs to be turned off. Everyone in the pub has to remain quiet. And Quizzers tend to sit there all night nursing a pint / 1/2 pint and leave as soon as the quiz is over. I saw this in the EDT. sat there for nearly an hour. the curtains were drawn to the back bar / Quiz. Not one person came out during the quiz to top up. Happens at the Clock House on quiz night. I have attende quizzes at the Grove years ago and I know my self it is a good way to make a pint last an hour or more. Fox.

That's right. I have seen them on occasssion ?? What time does the Actress close. Dont think it is 02.00 / 02.30 Could be wrong . I'm fast asleep by that time. :) Fox.
  20. Did speak to one of the management team a while back... I mentioned Security as I thought any late license would require Security. The guy I spoke to quoted that Security would not be nessecary as they were not on the main drag. And that it was only going to cost ?50.00 or so if it was needed. I was under the impression that the bars on Lordship Lane pay a lot more than that for their security.. They obviously had not even thought about it. Fox
  21. Quiet a trek to the Vale. It has to be worth passing 4 other pubs to get there. :) Not Footy mad but did go there a few times to watch games not being shown anywhere else.. A large area that is freezing in the winter. Guess it is difficult to heat. Will pop my head around the door at some time. Has needed a change for many years now. Even a Smile :) would make a huge difference. Fox.

No Not generally :- An Eye for an Eye would leave Everyone Blind.. ***Address the (many, complex) roots of the behavioiur.*** Like they did't have a Teddy Bear when they were young. Arrh Bless. Well I was born in the 1952 and we had nothing. No Television, No telephone, No stereo, No hot water, Outside toilet. I did not go round damaging other peoples property. I did not Steal from shops. These people are scum. Depriving them of their precious goods seems to be a reasonable response to their selfish acts of vandalism. They get away with it because of people making excuses for them. As for being able to afford designer clothes. ?? Well many of them are wearing them, Drinking alcohol and using drugs. We saw the riots on our streets where these people just helped themselves to designer goods. The Police are up against it bringing these people to trial with people defending them. The situation will only get worse. Fox.
  25. There are many Scams involving Loft Insulation.. Companies will tell you that you qualify for free Loft Insulation. They will do the work and then charge you. They give you reciepts and a form that you send to your Local Authority to claim your 100% refund. That's where the problem starts. You need to Double Check with your Local Authority first that you qualify. Rules may differ from area to area and althogh yo may qualify for a intrest free loan or a Grant, 100% schemes have date limits and only available whilst funds are available. Be Very careful before signing any agreement. Fox.
