Those long winter evenings must fly > by chez Fox... Well the amount of attention no longer seems to be related to people reporting on the subject. I walk in the area daily and pass the said sighting place most evenings. I have only seen these bottles one one occasion, so people here (it would seem) must go looking for them. They must be very patient. Perhaps they should be out with their Cameras looking for Rare Buterflies or Moths. As for my Gender. I thought that would be obvious to all the little detectives out there. Herrd:- As for the Gin. Well if you feel the need. ??? Fox. -
Strange bottles full of orange liquid
DulwichFox replied to tarafitness's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Just look at the first picture in the first post and tell me the middle bottle is urine. The person would have to be Very ill to produce pee that colour. I bottle my used oil and take it to Southwark Depot now in Devon Street. Others here may not do this and just pour it down the sink. So the bottles on the street are not mine. But I truely care about my enviroment. I know from many people here that that sort of level of concern labels me as some sort of crank. As is my level of concern for other matters here. Well in that case i'm a crank. We need more cranks in E.D. It would be a much nicer place. So the bottles on the street are not mine. I have included a picture for all to compare. Fox. -

Anyone had a blood test (jab on finger type)?
DulwichFox replied to Peckhamgatecrasher's topic in The Lounge
I have type 2 Diabetes. Controlled by diet (no medication) I acheive this by checking my Blood Sugars daily to see which foods affect my glucose levels. I do this 3 times on some days. It does not hurt. Taking a blood sample does not hurt either. Fox. -

Renaming Peckham Rye is not going to happen.. Peckham appears in Domesday Book of 1086 as Pecheham. Peckham Rye goes back to around 1767 or before. It is bad enough when people change historic Pub names. We would also need to change the name of the Station. Fox..

Google searches would seem to indicate 1gbt 1,000 mb for a football game. At 70p per megabyte that would be ?700.00 O2 charge 20p per mgbt. In France this could be charged more. ?? Depneds on your monthly allowance. Opinions in Google searches vary. Depends on what quality the stream is. Fox.

I have a Blackberry Playbook. It is a nice size but apart from a lack of apps, many of the apps do not load. I get a message : This item is not supported by your current device profile" ... Not sure what gis actually means. Google does not help much. I am set up for UK. Fox

E.D does not specifically Need a Sushi Restaurant. Need implies a Nesscessity. It is not a Nessessity. We will not all die if we do not get one. Some of us lived here when there was only 1-2 Indian Rests. A few pubs (not selling food) Kebab & Wine was a nice quiet place with Oilskin Table cloths and candles. A few Cafes. (for builders and workers.) open at 6.00am No Cocktail Bars. North Cross rd was virtually derelict. No parking problems. No red Routes. Very little crime. There is nothing E.D actually Needs. Fox.

The Cherry Tree official opening Thursday 30th August
DulwichFox replied to chrisharvey's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It's amazing how many people take their kids to pubs...and think it acceptable for them to be around booze. What would happen if someone opened a can of beer in a Cr?che / Nursery. ?? Would that be acceptable ?? Sort of brings the question home. Fox -
As I was reading this a guy just put his 'bagged' dog poo in my green bin. I ran out and confronted him. Got the typical dog owner response from him. I have twice seen a woman with the same dog doing the same. Also confronted her and got the same so what attitude. Told them to use the Doggy bin on the corner of my road 30 mtres away. But no. too much trouble. My front garden is tiny so the bin is by the wall/street. The green bin only gets emptied every two weeks so this hot weather it gets smelly when people put dog poo in it. I have confronted a woman in Dulwich park about this when her dog pooed inside the gate an Court Lane. She told me to F*** off. The F****** dogs got to go somewhere.. ..and it's not just Crystal Palace Rd. Do not see many strays around here, so most of the dog mess is left behind by dogs with owners. Fox

Water may be getting warm but not hot enough. Some powders work at lower temperatures / some do not Try a Hotter Setting. If you still have problems It could be a faulty Heater or Thermostat. Changing to a Gel will not fix the problem with your machine if there is a fault. Fox
