New Floor. New Bar (top) Asked Scott if the Gents would be done up. Answer: Why.? What's wrong with the Gents.? The money is best spent elsewhere. So there you go. Scaffolding now gone. Not sure what was done.?? Fox

FaceBook Hack Exposed by the BBC... http://readwrite.com/2008/05/01/facebook_hacked_again Fox...

Hi Otta.. Not getting Snobby. Like I say they are two different entities. I have serious concerns over Security issues with FaceBook. I have read articles how accounts can be compromised and hi-jacked. and people tend to give out too much info on FB. I also know very few people that use FB. and those that do I can simply e-mail. I can follow people on Twitter without either of us being on each others Christmas Card List. There can be some security issues with Twitter. Mainly clicking on links sent to you in Direct Messages. The same issues you get with e-mail. Important to stay safe. 1. Do not announce your Birthday. Like "I'm 30 today" gives would be hackers your D.O.B. 2. Do not post your Full Address. Gives away your Postcode. 3. Do not post your Full Name. Someone with your Name, Address, Post Code, D.O.B., e-mail are on track to steal your I.D. Fox.

You > won't convince me that one is any better than > another. FaceBook and Twitter are two Completely different enterties with very little in common with their usage. People make connections on Facebook with friends, family members, and other people that they care to keep in touch with. You will probably know most of the people you associate with. Twitter is less about social friendships. Twitter allows people to follow important topics, people, and conversations that are relevant or interesting to them. It's a much more detached connection. You will probably not know or ever meet most of the people you follow or reply to. Fox.

It would seem that the Works being carried out are for Drains and Sewers and will not affect Water Supplies. Fox. -
Huguenot Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Do the approaches in the link not work DF? Hi Huguenot.. Originally your link just returnerd to the this page. I did find the same site that your link goes to. Check "Encrypt contents to secure data" option. Will be 'Greyed' out on Home editions of Windows. Suggests using TweakUI. As for Windows 7 article states. Unfortunately, Microsoft has never released a TweakUI for Microsoft Windows Vista or Windows 7. So to answer TopTree's question, It is easier to Password Protect the Word/Excel doc. than a folder. Foxy.

No versions of Windows supports Password Protection of Files and Folders . You need Third Party Software to do this. One such produce is WinRAR. Foxy

Have been intrigued by this problem. I have had messages saying that Windows Explorer has 'Stopped Working' and that it is 'Restarting' Your problem seems to be as you have said, very common. One thing to check is CPU usage when you are transfering files. Also Transfering Large Files or multiple files to an External Drive may cause Buffer Overflow. Would depend on the Drive Write Speed. You need to check all settings. Foxy.

Well you were using AVG. [quote} The only thing I can think it might be is that I had to uninstall AVG anti-virus because it was causing a problem, and am now using the standard Microsoft anti-virus. It is very likely your problems started while you were using AVG. As for the Standard Microsoft anti-virus. ? Independent infomation and reviews are Sketchy. Foxy.

Some info about Explorer.EXE APPCRASH An example very similar to you is given Pay Special attention to Reference of the need for good spyware software. Also get some decent Antivirus. like Eset NOD32 v5. The Free version of AVG is next to useless. http://www.appcrash.org/ Foxy. Foxy..

I would advise NOT to delete anything ATT. Microsoft Visual C++ is a IDE that lets you write your own C++ programs, compile and run them to produce .EXE files that run mainly in Windows Console or for producing Forms. It is part of Windows. Can you actually open the Program. ?? You may be denied access or not be able to use the package without a Windows Live I.D. (Microsoft Account) However You still need the Run time Libraries to run some .EXE files created in C++ not created by yourself. Bit of a grey area even for me, but as I understand The .lib files are in.. ..C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\lib (contains library Files) Most likely to be different value for Visual Studio 10.0 If these files are not there or the path is missing, then is likely to be your problem. Could be your Library files are out of date.

Click the Start button , clicking Control Panel, and then clicking System. Under System, you can view the system type. You will most likely to be 32 bit OS. Just Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package as ByteLinks and myself advised earlier. Check first if the following path exists. C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\VC\lib (contains library Files) Fox
