I lived in Peckham as a kid.. 50's Buntings was my mum's choice. It is on Peckham Park Road, Not Peckham Road. Great to see They are still there. I bet William Rose won't be here(ED) in 60 years time. Nor Me. :) Still will not have to wait that long to collect my winnings. Fox

ED eyesore (old van outside my house)

ilondoner Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Dulwich Fox I will pay you to park that van > outside KK's house. I would really like to make it clear that the van posted in my last post is NOT Mine. Nor would I wish to be seen driving it. :) or have it parked outside my house. I did have a Mini bus parked outside my house for about 6 weeks. (Never Moved) As my front garden is about 3 ft long, the van Totally blocked my splendid view of the house opposite. Foxy -

Shame when New Establishments set up in E.D. and try and put their Stamp on things. Telling the locals 'What you need is this.... and if you don't, you are going to get it anyway.' Instead of giving Locals what they Really Need or what they are asking for. Fox -

Apparitions are like Rainbows. They are only 'Visable' from a certain aspect as they are not solid and have no substance. The Brain tries to interperit 'Ghostly' Shapes in a similar way people see faces in burning coals and clouds. This triggers off the imagination in an attempt to make sense of what we see. Certain substances can enhance these images and even combine them with sound. Hearing Colours and seeing sounds When the sensors in the brain cross over. Just lay off the cheese before bed time. Peckhampam Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There is no such thing as ghosts!! That is true for most people.. You cannot see Radio Waves but we are surrounded by them. You need to be able to tune in to them . 'Ghosts' are a bit like that. They are not Solid objects. They are also Not Hallucenations. They are manifest in the people that see them. People that say that something cannot be done. It's because they do not know how to do it. People that say . There is no such thing as ghosts!! It's because they do not have the understanding that such a thing is possible. Without such understanding, They simply do not exist. Just as Radio Wave do not exist to someone without a Radio. Fox.

People can become very sensitive to The Paranormal. But usually develops through Phsychic Training. I have worked with people who had themselves worked for The Institute of Phsychic Research. They worked with Specialist Photographic Equipment in an attempt to capture Photographic evidence. This involved the use of Leica Cameras using infra-red film. Infrared is usually divided into 3 spectral regions: near, mid and far-infrared. Glass lenses cannot generally be used as I.R does not travel through glass. Plastic Lenses need to be used. People often 'See' Apparitions out of the corner of their eye. This is due to part of the Human Eye Retina sensitive to I.R. relates to the part of the Lens at the corner of the eye. I have only ever seen one 'Apparition' That was at Borley Rectory Essex. I was about 30 metres away and saw an lady in the Churchyard at the Rectory She was standing over a Gravestone and was shaking her head. She was ther for about 15-20 seconds. I went to the place where she had stood but 'She' faded away. The gravestone where she had stood had been vandalised. Fox.

UDT is a reliable UDP based application level data transport protocol for distributed data intensive applications over wide area high-speed networks. UDT uses UDP to transfer bulk data with its own reliability control and congestion control mechanisms. The new protocol can transfer data at a much higher speed than TCP does. UDT is also a highly configurable framework that can accommodate various congestion control algorithms Are we talking about the same thing ??? Fox.

Swann Services: threatening and suspicious letter
DulwichFox replied to maxpaterson's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
There is a Company called Swann that produce CCTV Security . They are mainly for DIY installation but it may be that the Communal Area of your Property has CCTV from Swann. Just a thought. You need to speak with Southwak Council. Fox. -
