When A mass call-in happens, numbers are Call Gapped This is a proccedure which limits the amount of Telephone Traffic to any Number. Without Call Gapping the network would come to a grinding halt. and calls to other numbers in the same area would not be able to get through. Call gapping can be set up on individual line numbers but in the case of X-Factor may be set up on a block of numbers. This would mean that All contestants are likely to recieve a similar number of votes. It would also depend if there were a rush of votes or votes were over a longer period of time. Gapping would only be applied if the integrity of the Network was in jeopardy. Votes could be 'Adjusted' to fit in with predicted outcome.. Fox.
  5. And Rylan & Christopher are still there because they have NO Real chance of winning. James has been selected to win. and any real competition needs to be iliminated. The whole show is a farce. Same every year. Foxy.

  9. Do not go up town much.. but was during the summer I was visiting Calumet.. (a Photographic Co. ) which is in Drummond street, just North of Tottenham Crt. Rd. There is one of the Boris bike 'Stations'? in the area. Nearly all of the bikes had bald tyes. They were well worn and one would assume quite dangerous. Even more so in the wet. The Bikes, look heavy so would take a lot of stopping and would do a lot of damage to anyone hit by one. Not sure if they are fitted with any bell to warn pedestrians. Who is responsible for their maintainance. ?? It would seem nobody Fox.

I'll try > to contact 4G. 4G is not a company. 4G is the next generation of mobile communication standards, picking up where 3G drops off and delivering higher download and upload speeds. Up to 5 times faster. Orange customers now connect through EE which is a company providing 4G for those who have compatible Handsets. Everything Everywhere Limited, trading as EE, is a mobile network operator and internet service provider company headquartered in Hatfield, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everything_Everywhere Fox.

  13. Time for a Lyric.. Old friends, old friends sat on their parkbench like bookends A newspaper blowin' through the grass Falls on the round toes of the high shoes of the old friends Old friends, winter companions, the old men Lost in their overcoats, waiting for the sun The sounds of the city sifting through trees Settles like dust on the shoulders of the old friends Can you imagine us years from today, sharing a parkbench quietly How terribly strange to be seventy 20 years to go.. or what about.. It was 65 years ago today, Seargent Pepper taught the band to play..(it was 20 years ago in 1967) Fox.

  16. Also bear in mind a second coat may be required. 'Bleed Through' from original colour (even if White) will affect the tone. Try a small area to see if things imprpove. Fox. p.s. Colour will be different when fully dry.
  17. Well there is only one good thing here... They did not need to smash the windows to get to the phone.. So if you do leave valubles in sight. Do not lock the doors. Don't forget to inform your Service Provider your phone has been stolen. Foxy.

Sue.. Your phone signal comes from the nearest Orange/EE Aerial. Your Wi Fi signal comes from your Wireless Router . (If your phone has Wi Fi.) ?? They are completely separate entities. Your phone calls do not go over Wi Fi unless you are using Skpe. If you have Data Enabled then you can access the internet via your Phone Line when Wi-Fi is not available. This is expensive once you have used up any allowance you may have. My EE signal is fairly weak indoors. Fox.
  19. They are a pain, But you can put them in your Blue Box/Bag so at least they get recycled. Fox.
  20. I have another theory that proves mathmaically that you for example a bullet fired at you will never reach you. For example if someone does fire at you from a set distance, when the bullet has traveled half that distance, it still has the remaining half of that distance to travel. and when it has travelled half of the remaining distance, it still has to travel the rest of the remaing distance. and so when it has travelled half of that distance.. it still has to ...... So it will never reach you. Never trust Mathematics. Fox.
  21. The Simple Explanation.. The Begining and The End are Human Conceptual Ideals to make Sense of smething we do not comprehend. The Truth may well be there is no Beging or end. Like a Circle. No End, no Begining. Our lives are mere miniscule Arcs of that Circle. And time existed before we were born and will continue when we have gone. Still Working on the Complex Explanation. Hope that Helps... ;) Fox
  22. csaddleton Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I would wish that no spiders ever entered my flat > or that spiders never existed. If there were no Spiders our homes would be over-run with insects and bugs. When we had small farms and fields with hedgerows, the spiders lived in the hedgerows and ate all the insects in the fields. As fields got bigger, the spiders could not reach the middle of the fields so the insect population exploded. They ate all the crops, to insectercides were/are needed. I do not like spiders much. But we really do need them. Fox.

  25. A dog requires a lot more looking after than a cat. Will require a lot of exercise. People should NEVER buy any pet as a Christmas present for a child. Fox.
