These Horses were Dead... Dead Horses no longer shit... They were just carcasses.. No Guts or inards as far as I remember.. Just the stench of un-refridgerated meat 'going off' on a Hot summers day. Foxy...

When I was a Child, I lived in Peckham... On the corner of Radnor Rd and Commercial Way was a covered Yard where they cut up Horses.. They wern't slaughtered there.. (Least I don't think so) . The carcasses came in trucks and was butchered there. The smell in the summer was awful. I assume the 'meat' was destined for pet food, but being just after the War, 1950's was it possible it would of been for human consumption. ? Bones used to make Glue ??? Anyone live in that area at that time and remember it. Fox.. PS. Anyone still up for a Nice Rare Burger.. ?

Lost wedding ring scam surfaces in ED
DulwichFox replied to Hare's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
I seem to remember this happening to me... Cannot rememeber where it was. May of been Lordship Lane. Asian guy appeared to pick up something from the pavement in front of me. I thought it was just a joke. It did not get to the stage of them asking me for money as I walked off. The ring was large, No Decoration , I beleive it was a 22mm brass plumbing Olive which had been buffed up. Seems to be quite common from what people are saying. Foxy. -

Have not been to Lidl and do not tend to notice / recognise Supermarket Staff. I Think they must constantly change their staff. Whilst on the subject of horse meat in burgers:---- I would not mind betting that before very long, some Little 'Bijou' outlet in E.D. will be knocking out 'Burger au Cheval' with an unpretentious little Red. ?20.00 would seem about the going rate. People in ED want to pay this... It's the 'My Dad is Bigger than Your Dad' Syndrome. Open up a Tea Shop.. White-wash the walls.. Get a few old broken tables and chairs (must not match) Get some young girls to run it. (You can get away with paying them peanuts) Charge 10% more than Lucas.. (you can increase this later) and they will be queing the legnth of Lordship Lane. Fox.

Annette Curtain Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Always remember that the Swiss invented the Cuckoo > Clock & the Swiss Army knife (not sure about Swiss > Roll tho) > > What does that tell you about a nation ? No they didn't.... In 1629, many decades before clockmaking was established in the Black Forest,[4] an Augsburg nobleman by the name of Philipp Hainhofer (1578?1647) penned the first known description of a modern cuckoo clock. The clock belonged to Prince Elector August von Sachsen. Augsburg is a city in the south-west of Bavaria, Germany. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuckoo_clock Foxy

The Artist made one Major error.... The work shows a bottle of Tomato Ketchup... Alfred Hitchcock famously used Bosco Chocolate Syrup as fake blood in his 1960 thriller Psycho. Fox ;-) -
Dulwich Hospital typically has 3 Phlebotomists working at any time.. Expect to wait 40 mins to 1 Hour. But I have been seen to in 15mins on one occassion and over 2 hours on a very bad day. Fox

Alan Medic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Frozen mice now cost a ?1 each in the pet shop. > Snakey may have to go on a diet. a young snake or small snake would only be able to go a few weeks without food. but most adult snakes can easily go several months without eating. large snake species like pythons and boas can sometimes go a year without eating. Perhaps you need to upgrade to an older larger model Fox

problems opening attachments on email account
DulwichFox replied to intexasatthe moment's topic in The Lounge
You say that this only affects one of your sub-accounts. You need to compare the properties of each account to see they are all set up the same way. I can help you to do this if you need any help. Foxy. -
Yes I was there about 10 days ago. Kings have a strange set up. They do tests from Hospital appointments but not from GP's But this changes on certain days of the week when they will do GP requests. Best go to Dulwich Hosp. Dulwichfox.

I went there for a new tyre.. They told me they would have to order one and it could take some time as my tyre was not gerally available.. I drive a Ford Escort Encore 1.6. I never had to pay a deposit for a pool cue. They were in the rack for anyone to use. But being only 2ft long. They were no longer any use for wrapping round someones throat.. Fox :)

Huguenot Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I suspect Fox is simply sharing his worldview, any > correlation between that and the real world is > purely coincidental! ;-) Pinch of salt taken... Coincidence is a factor of the Real World. Like it must be coincidental that some people have more than their fair share of computer problems. Like it must be coincidental that some people have more than their fair share of bad restuarant experiences. Like it must be coincidental that some people have more than their fair share of their car being damaged. Like it must be coincidental that some people have more than their fair share of critisim. Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Fox.

My comments are not aimed at anyone. They are general comments. Like all my comments here. I try to avoid 'Personal' conflict. I try to help people with any Technical problems they may experience. And any other things I can help with. Any negative opinions are never pointed at any idividual but may at times be pointed at establishments where there is a level of under performing. Fox
