Tracy Barlow is a fictional character in Coronation Street.. The character has been portrayed/played by 4 different people/actors Born in Jan. 1977. The baby was not really acting. She had kidney failiure in 1994 after taking a dodgy 'E' in a night club. Oh for God sake just read it here... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tracy_Barlow She is currently played by actress Kate Ford.. Who apparantly shops locally.. Fox

There are a lot of things to concider here ... Any premises would need to have Use Class D2 Assembly and Leisure / Cinemas, music and concert halls. This will greatly restrict choice of premises. The building would need to pass stringent Fire Regulations including fire prevention and fire exit facilities. Possibly you will need to provide toilets. Apart from Building Insurance, Public Liability Insurance would be required. Films would need to be Hired and Royalties paid for screening based on number of people attending. You cannot screen any of your own Recorded Media due to Copyright legislation. Further Licences would be needed if any form of Food/Drink that was provided. Back in 1977 ish I ran a Film Club for The Lee Centre Adult Literacy Unit (part of Goldsmiths Colledge) Working with Celluloid and just 1 Projector. Hiring films and organising Couriers to deliver and return films. Usually 4-5 cans per film. Organising licences and advertising. Keeping Accounts.. It was hard work even though the builing and nessesary facilities were already in place. Just scrapping the surface here, but it is not just a case of projecting a film and getting a few folk to pop up. Finding the right material is not easy if you need to get bums on seats. You cannot start any business on the Whim of a dozen or so people. My Film Club was stopped by Goldsmiths Colledge as 'I was not a Quallified projectionist' and they wanted to run it. But they never did. Fox.

The Market and late night bars and takeaways have led to an influx of people to the area. They leave a lot of their rubbish behind. E.D. is no longer an undiscovered Gem. Sadly the place is rapidly becoming a diagrace. Discarded Kebab, Fried Chicken and Pizza boxes... Piles of Tat outside the numerous Charity Shops, Beggars, Drunks. Not a pretty site.. I suppose asking some people to place their Rubbish in a bin.... .. is like expecting a bear to crap in a toilet.. Fox.

Well as I am not going to the Olympics so I do not care what beer they are selling or how much it costs. I can buy a case of 12 Peronis for ?13.00 (Tescos) and watch the Olympics at home in the dry. Or do something completely different.. Fox

Ok.. So we now have a couple of businesses who have expressed their wish that they are no longer mentioned here on The ED Forum.. Fair enough. Where does this leave people who have experianced poor service elsewhere. ? Are they NOT to post negative comments even when justified. ?? Can we really not discuss both good and bad experiances any more ? What is the way forward. ? This really needs to be made clear. Fox

StraferJack Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Fox > > The building sits on top of one of London's main > train stations. Why would you want to drive there? I think the joke was wasted on you... The fact that you can see for I don't know how many miles.. would not matter where you parked it. Like Camberwell..??? Why do folk here take eveything so litterally ? Having said that.... Having worked in that area for most of the last 20 years (pre 2008) I can assure you many people do try and park there and regularly get clamped or removed.. Fox.

Well you can pay ?25.00 and if your eyesight is good enough... .... you might be able to see your car being towed away... Foxy.

The Shard officially opens today... When it opens to the Public it will cost ?25.00 to see the view from the Viewing Gallery. They estimate there will be 1,000,000 spectators a year. You can get around paying this money by buying your own appartment... Estimated cost ?50M. The shard has approx 40 parking spaces. Bargain.. Fox

I hardly ever go to a Butchers (especially William Rose) Buy on Sat for Sunday only to find it has gone off despite being put in the fridge withing 5-10 mins of purchase. I use mainly ASDA. Meat there is very good and cheaper than the other main Supermarkets.. Tend to eat mostly Frozen Veg. Better that most 'Fresh' ??? Veg. Fox.

Well I do use the Co-op when I am desperate... Not very often. I mainly use the Co-op to pay my Utilities Bills. .. But I like fresh food so I go elsewhere where food IS fresher AND cheaper. Why pay More for Less.. The Co-op is as sad excuse for a shop. With poor quality food. I have stopped buying Meat there. I do not even own a dog. Fox. Not actually a Fox.

As for loose veg which is not dated.. who knows ?? Fox..
