Looks like the 'Massive Bacon Sandwiches' from Franklins are off the Menu then :)

The floor was solid with Large ceramic tiles. The floor was then screeded all over to include areas not tiled to level the floor. An Aluminium backed insulating underlay was laid and a high quality interlocking laminate was laid. The floor was laid over the entire Kichen to cover areas under all units. The joints are virtually invisible so not too worried about water seepage. DulwichFox

Does indeed look like a Shell which is why I dismissed it. Very true how fast these places can be fitted out with the right team. DulwichFox

Spoke with the New owner Dave this afternoon. Very pleasant fellow. Pub will be under The Old Spot Brewery and not Youngs. Old Spot offers 5 - 6 beers. But Dave will be getting Guest beers inc. London Pride Fullers Food will be available but Beer will be main Priority. Hopes to be open in 2 1/2 weeks. Pending removal of asbestos. ?? so could be delayed Also big Clean-up and Decorating job,, Painting, New Toilets.. Well needed in my opinion Look forward to having an Old Pub back open after 15 years.. Just my opinion but I have a good feeling about this. EDT needs some decent competition. Good Pub but They are getting a bit complacent DulwichFox -

Lynne Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > More aggressive call than usual. My BT internet ( > which I don't have ) has been involved in fraud > and I might be arrested for fraud if I didn't > press 1, etc etc It's an old common scam. Your Internet and I.P. has NOT been compromised (in Many Countries) as suggested. You will NOT be arrested if you do not press (1). Do Not Press (1) If you do you will be taken through a process that requests you to download software that will interrogate you P.C. and steal you secure DATA. and possibly/probably you Bank Details. Just clear down and get on with the rest of your day. You have nothing to worry about. I get this same Scam call 2 - 3 times a week. Often early morning 09.00am Another one says Your internet will be disconnected today. Press (1) to speak with the B.T. Technical Department. B.T. NEVER contact its customers this way. DulwichFox

DulwichFox replied to DulwichFox's topic in The Lounge
The Pizza Oven has been in place for a while now.. The Counter in place. The Outside signage is done The outside repainted. There seems to be a floor laid internally but may just be a screed. Cannot tell peering through the window. After taking on the place work seems to of progressed remarkably fast. Lets not get too excited. It's yet to open. Like I say, I was told it will open next week. DulwichFox -

Sainsbury's have a range of Olive Oils with a range of prices. I opted for the San Leandro Cold Extracted Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Andalusia Spain. Priced at ?5.50 500ml. ?11.00 Ltr. and very good it is too. I watch a lot of Cooking programs on TV and Spanish Olive Oil is Highly rated by many Chefs. DulwichFox
