Maybe someone will invent > a biodegradable liner for the mountain of takeaway > boxes some people accumulate. Did they have Freezer Bags during the war. ?? How many people in Britain had Freezers during the War. Many didn't even have Electricity P.S. The Co-op now have Green Biodegradable Bags which can be used for wood waste. They have instructions NOT to put in the general waste bins. cannot remember if they are 5p 0r 10p but they hold twice as much as the 10 ltre bags that can be quite expensive. DulwichFox -

As the new 5p charge is introduced for carrier bags in England, Professor Anthony Hilton claims that without understanding the need to have different bags for different uses, shoppers increase their chances of contamination from a range of bacteria. The new charge has caused a surge in the number of ?bags for life? given out at supermarkets in the past few weeks. While admitting there are huge environmental benefits to this, Professor Hilton cautions that reusing plastic brings with it hazards which the public should be aware of to minimise any health risks. *Bob* gave me nothing but grief. He was a little cog in the Clique. But the clique were nothing without the rest of the Clique to back them up. But that is all in the past. Most of the Clique are still around but have changed their names. But The Fox is still the Fox and a Millwall supporter. 'No one likes us. We dont care.' *Bob* was no real Match :)

Have a look at this post, > it might be the same person: > /forum/read.php? > 5,2035079 No, not the same person. This guy was a young person, quite presentable. He flashed an I.D. card he was wearing but I did not look at it. He was very enthusiastic offering various items from a very new well packed holdall. He said he was working on a Youth ex-offenders scheme. It is possible that this is a genuine scheme and that the 'Packs' are prepared by the scheme. Like all these door to door sellers the stuff they are selling is Tat and available in any Pound Store. I do not think that this chap posses any threat as a potential Burglar. He did not appear to attempt look into my premises. DulwichFox -
Just had some guy ringing my doorbell as if there were a fire. Briefly flashed a plastic card hung around his neck. Said he was on a young offenders works scheme. Opened up a holdall which looked brand new. Had lots of cleaning stuff and the like. Offered me an extendable feather duster. and some cleaning clothes. I said sorry mate and that I did not need anything of the sort. He then got very aggressive and said 'so you dont want to help me ' I said 'Sorry mate I'm a pensioner. ' He said 'At least you have a Pension' I said ' Well sorry but I worked for 40 years for that' He stormed off swearing but did not catch what he said. He run up the road (Ulverscroft) towards Whateley and did not knock at anymore doors. he was wearing Red Top

I saw a program on TV some time back and Bill's looked somewhat appealing. However my only experience of Bill's is at Bluewater. Loads of people seated with no food in front of them staring at Menus trying to attract the attention of a waiter. Pure Chaos.
