'Respectable' was in quotes ?? Never worked in the city. ? I worked in the City for 40 years.. Back in the 70's when as Telephone Engineer field guy, I worked in Customs and Excise, The Stock Exchange, The Mansion House, Coutes, Barings Bank, Rothchilds, Plantation Hse. in the Commodities markets. I also worked in Billingsgate Fish Market and Smithfield Meat Market. I met them all. DF.

Once set up the option will still show up in the Ribbon regardless of how many pages there are in the current document. You do not need to go through the procedure every time. Foxy

To set it up you need to create a 2 page document which you do not need to save. If you don't create a 2 page document you will get an error message. Foxy
  5. Hi Sue Here is a short Video on how to do this. Having said that could not find it in my Word 2016 version. I'm using Windows 10 and many things don't seem to work that should. Basically Click the little down 'V' at top of page.. Select More Commands Select from dropdown select All Commands and select shrink one page Hope that helps Foxy

I have never set foot in the place. It looks Nice.. Does not seem too expensive... But it sells Foie Gras.. .. and I have expressed my views on Foie Gras many a time over the years.. It prevents me using several outlets in East Dulwich and indeed elsewhere. Principals have to be adhered too. Lets see what the new place will be doing. Foxy.
  8. Admin has pointed out that this thread is about Le Chardon being sold. Think it would be wise for all of us to get back on subject. Foxy

You seem to of taken this personally. :) As you say ,, You are not poor and do not support Millwall and you do not eat Pie and Mash. So my 'flippant' remark . Only poor people and Millwall Fans eat Pie and Mash. in Manzes, Don't they. ? Holds true. Of course other people also eat Pie and Mash. In their Tower Bridge Rd. Branch, many 'respectable' city types Booted and Suited can be found Tucking in during the week and this Bermondsey outlet will be rammed with Millwall fans on Match day. Lovely Grub. Don't forget the Chilli Vivegar. Might pop down to Peckham today. Thursday night is Curry night .. Memsaab or Jaflong. ?? Eating out twice on the same day. Foxy

    Dogs in Bags

Dogs being used as Fashion Accessories.. Terrible. These people should not be allowed to own dogs. DulwichFox
  11. I like Pie and Mash from Manzes.. I do not expect prime cuts of meat in the Pies .. Just Mince meat Pie .. Mash and Liquor (Made from Flour Parsley and liquid from stewing the Eels) Marvelous. Of course some here would not be seen dead in a place like this. If it was on the lane and ?15.99 for Pie and Mash they would not be able to get enough. Only poor people and Millwall Fans eat Pie and Mash. in Manzes, Don't they. ? Fox
  12. It's Ironic that over the years when The Fox has criticised a new food outlets he has been given stick. As soon as The Fox praises a new outlet he still gets stick.. And I'm told its nothing personal. Of course its personal. I know. You don't hate Foxes.. Some of your best friends are Foxes. DulwichFox.

I would challenge you to produce the mixed grill dish for ?3.50 even with cheap produce. Have you been to Memsaab? Yes. Fine. how was it. ? No. Then Shut up about it (Polite version) DulwichFox
  14. Indian food is one of the healthiest diets there is. Healthier than Fish & Chips... Pizza.. Chinese... Mixed grill is not the best example but then it is not a truly Indian dish. Indian Food with so many Vegetable dishes.. Dhals... and low GI chapattis Can be eaten on a daily basis. You cannot say that for Fish and Chips.. Pizza.. Burgers... and the like. Foxy.

Drinks at Memsaab are not cheap. 650ml Cobra ?4.95 330ml ?3.95. I believe there are some on tap. The Naan was a plain Naan. and very good it was too. I seldom eat salad but do with Tandoori mixed grill. The salad was very fresh and I actually enjoyed it. Chicken Madras is ?5.95 as opposed to ?8.95 in Tandoori Nights . Cobra in T.Nights is ?5.90 for 660ml Foxy.

The pictures are poor. Taken on a windows phone in poor light. reduced / Compressed in Flickr Then further reduced to fit on Forum Page. Sorry. The food was remarkable and fresh. Foxy.

I washed down with a Large Cobra. and also got a complimentary Cointreau on ice. Foxy.
  18. Memsaab Tandoori Mixed Grill. Tandoori Chicken..Lamb Chops.. Chicken Tikka.. Lamb Tikka.. King Prawn.. & Sheek Kebab. Served with Large Salad and a Whole Nann bread. This is a Sizzler dish. ?9.95 all in. Foxy
  19. Loud Bomb dropping Sounds... ?? Bright Orange Streaks... ?? You must tell us what you are drinking.. I might try a pint.. Mmmmh Better make that a half . :)
  20. A White van passed by my window about an hour ago.. It was sign written but did not catch what it said. Also could not read the number plate as I did not have my glasses on because I had left them upstairs in the bathroom. My cat is terrified and is now hiding under the shed at the end of our garden. Who can I report this incident too. ?
