  1. Noel Clarke? It's subjective who we would think are 'greats' though ?
  2. I just had this today , someone saying they will collect a unit this afternoon , we dismantled it and now they can't get it . It annoys the hell out of me !
  3. Oh wow ! Poor postman . No excuse for that . Thanks for the update .
  4. I have always wanted to go to midnight mass just so that I can say I have been but once I start on the wine at home , mince pies , tin of celebrations , the Bailey's , the Christmas tree chocolate whilst singing 'Last Christmas' I usually crash out fast asleep around 11pm. Is there a big turn out at Midnight Masses?
  5. How awfully sad . I really hope the police manage to track them down .
  6. Didn't their Head who turned the school around leave ? If so maybe this is why ? laire17 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > What's going on at goose green? 7. I definitely agree that dog licensing would help and fining the offenders . Nothing wrong with wanting to keep our streets poo free and litter free .
  8. I just find it bonkers that there is nothing we can do and we have to tolerate it . Why ?!
  9. I noticed lots of poo today as well but to be honest , we play dodge the poo every single day because there is always poo somewhere around here ! Never used to be as bad as this though .
  10. This post is hilarious . As sixth generation of Dulwich , it has changed massively. I have a love/hate relationship with Dulwich at the moment , I'm not sure which side is winning though .
  11. St John's church this Saturday is having a grotto.
  12. Sometimes children do not connect with an adult , it's personalities clashes . As someone who has worked in childcare I had an instant rapport with all my children from the off as we just took to each other , it's the reason why I think it's important when interviewing that the childcarer and child interacts with each other at the interview face to face to see if there is a rapport but obviously with au pairs being interviewed via Skype etc it works differently so I cannot really offer advice on that count except to try and get them to go to fun places and do fun things together and see if that helps in bonding .
  13. This one ... Tried, tested and recommended . http://www.andchillax.co.uk/
  14. Thanks for the update .

  16. I rarely have a takeaway so it's a lovely treat to have a GBK plus it's hardly McDonald's , the quality is a lot better for the occasional splurge. Deliveroo includes Franklins Chicken , Yama's Sushi etc it's not the local kebab or chicken shop , it's higher end food .
  17. I ordered from Deliveroo , I ordered from GBK and all my order arrived . I would definitely use them again .
  18. Judging by how busy it is , it's clearly not redundant to most and I use this bank every week .
  19. No, what is the run down on that ? edhistory Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Did anyone read this group's material on > groundwater contamination?
  20. That is very clever ! BrandNewGuy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Some kids in East Dulwich used to call Ashbourne > Grove 'the river' because it ran between two > banks: > http://bit.ly/1Rq9PQF
  21. I moved my child from one nursery to the other and he was so much happier as a result .
  22. Would prefer Waitrose to use the space and buy out Co-Op and have a decent sized store . Seriously though I changed from NatWest in Peckham to HSBC since the latter is on my doorstep more or less just for HSBC to be closing down from January meaning I end up traipsing to Peckham as I did originally . The irony . jonny vantastic Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Ooh is it going to become an M&S?
