Whilst I appreciate it's good to try all local pubs, places off the beaten track (as it were) don't exactly appeal to me, and I'm sure I'm not alone here, as a place for a meet. I only mention this as a point when considering attracting some of the newer members of the forum... :-D

I think it's a continuous debatable topic... at the end of the day you can get some very good builders (regardless of nationality) and the some VERY bad ones...

People who over hears the conversations as mentioned above and then complain about it... you don't have to listen ya know! If it really bugs you that much just make the occasional comment as they're speaking, joining in... they'll soon learn not to do it in your presence ;-)

Luvpeckham sweetheart... I do seriously worry about the amount of telly you watch and the types of programmes... I'll say no more ;-)

people and bags... those huge "handbags" or briefcases that the owner feels needs to be kept really close with them at all times - having no spacial awareness when getting on a bus/train/tube or even indeed walking down the street and bashing into everyone/everything and dont even bother to apologise!
