  1. And who's you? Do I know you? *eyes KB suspiciously before realising tis a long lost stranger* did you get lost down the back of the sofa of in DMs cleavage? *grins*
  2. Who's there?
  3. Maybe you should shake them up again Fuschia :) (I'm sure there's a few eyes following this thread).
  4. If you are wanting to get in touch with the Southwark Concert Band it is best to go through me (you'll probably end up doing so anyway) and I can certainly point you in the right direction for contacting other groups of the South London Community Group which is the umbrella for several other local groups. Also, as Comus kindly pointed out the local schools are certainly a demanding lot for music. Don't forget to add Kingsdale and the Charter School to your list to check out though. If you get on the right side of the teachers/musicians at these they can set you on a positive path.
  5. How did this thread start out say joyous and positive towards these wonderful sources of greenary to the talk a ripping, chopping and murdering?
  6. "we all live in a yellow submarine" ;-)
  7. I thought it was just a camberwell thing...
  8. Steve... that forum drinking session weren't too bad... I could hear you all quite clearly from outside! when I popped in very briefly I happened to notice the clientele had suddenly gotten quite considerably younger and scruffy - is this their intended target group?
  9. half 3 and they ran out of food you say eh? Tut tut mister bar man you lied to us two pretty young ladies on Sunday "literally JUST ran out" doesnt mean several hours ago *shakes head in disappointment* not even a bowl of chips or half a tomato!
  10. Didnt see any action happening the kitchen area this weekend :|
  11. Moos I werent complaining about someones "right" to travel on board wiv a pushchair more of their assumption that on an already full bus they have right of way (for want of a better word) over everyone else regardless of the situation.
  12. Bloomin' pushchairs/buggys on buses and the attitude of the mothers that it's their RIGHT to bring the ruddy thing on board AND put it in the area they think is ONLY for them even on a packed bus followed by insulted dear old ladies for pointing out back in their day they had to manage without such luxuries, resulting in silly "21 yr old boys" joining in... *breathes* Mothers with babies taking up two seats on a bus (the second seat meaning the one you are already sitting on), elbows, baby sludge/food and rubbish everywhere AND having the cheek to explode at you when you want to get off the bus as if it's your fault for being in the way! Bloomin' 'eck how much space do they want!?!
  13. AND if you happen to play an instrument... SLCM get involved with the community :)) (tu)

As the bus is question was the 176 you should contact the bus garage concerned (Norwood) and speak to the garage manager. Also, now I'm hoping you don't take this the wrong way, have you thought of your approach and attitude in this matter? By name calling because you didnt get the response you wanted makes me think your initial approach wasn't the most friendliest in the first place. Threatening this that and the other doesn't always mean you'll get what you think you deserve.
  18. oh come now moos everyone knows champagne was sooo last season... ya cant beat a good pint these days! *wonders over to window munching toast*
  19. Ahem can I just stress bus drivers dont work for TFL they work for their own bus companies. TFL are known for being useless when it comes to reporting issues. Go to the bus company itself. You'd be surprised how often they DONT stick up for their drivers. (tu)
  20. Aside from your power issues I hope you have all the necessary permission/paperwork? Would be a shame to get something going successfully only to be destroyed by the council and it's "rules"
