Except they don't. there are certain levels of calls the emergency services get called out for and it is only the highest priority calls ie were there is a threat to life that they are allowed to activate blues and twos and even then only if it is an appropriately trained response driver and not all are trained to this standard. even then they are still subject to the highway code as they are not allowed to jump lights, speed, travel up the wrong side of the road etc unless they are in a safe position to do so and not cause harm to others. there is a certain level of expection of behalf of the public in this regard ie if a squad car is barrelling down the road at 70mph with full lights and sirens, then it is expected that the road is kept clear and space made for them to pass, it is an offence not to do so. they are also subject to parking restrictions like the rest of us again excepting emergency situations and i would assume that that they said same restrictions would also apply to traffic wardens. the only misconception that always seems to be bandied about is, that it is illegal to issue a ticket or to arrest someone when not wearing headgear not true, you can be nicked or receive a ticket regardless of whether the issuer is hatless or not as the case may be.

they certainly are stretchers, they were mentioned in an article in the es magazine about 10 years ago ,if you take the time to look carefully at them you will certainly be able to see this quite clearly, some of them have a curved underside which i presume was to raise them off the ground while others dont which i presume was to enable to slide them into the back of ambulances and other vehicles. they dont look very comfortable but mind you if you had a leg or an arm missing a comfortable stretcher was probably the last thing on your mind. the said same article also mentioned the number of uxbs scattered sround the area the most prominent one being on the site at kch, and finally it also mentioned about the air-raid shelters which were built under camberwell green, co-incidentally these were only filled in a few years ago after one of them partially collapsed.

i dont think theres any change at all, when i worked in kings a&e we used to go up to the roof garden in the morning for a snout and they would be coming over from 5am and low enough that the majority had their undercarriage already down. i always thought concorde went over ed about 4.50pm.

bloody hell, any chance you could help me with next weeks lottery numbers.

it certainly sounds highly implausible but one never knows the criminal mind can be highy inventive, to be truthful the mc canns and not wishing to cast any doubt on their guilt or innocence have always come across as quite cold, whether that is just their normal mannerism or whether its because of their situation i dont know however the way this whole media circus has erupted around the childs disappearance could be construed by some as a device to draw attention to their plight or to divert it elsewhere, but if what is being said about the childs blood being found in the car 3+ weeks later is true then it has certainly cast a new light on the situation, and will require one hell of an explanation.

they do give them out but its a bit hit and miss with whoever leads you to your table with one or two exceptions i,ve always had to ask. the food is cheap but as sean points out thats for the early bird menu which is what i go for i certainly wouldnt pay full price for what is provided.
