OK I'll be honest. He's the Father of my love child & the poor kid needs new shoes. And while he pis*es it up in The Herne the poor child walks the streets bare footed. * clenches teeth * Nette(6)

Do you know Kevin the Plasterer? (i'd post this elsewhere but I can't) He drinks in The Herne. Tall, slim and very dry humoured. I need his number please. Nette(?)

Ohhhhh I'd love to say that I want Haye to win, really I would. I mean all the titles being held by a British boxer would be great, BUT Haye is such a tool. I can't stand his poxy banter, I mean who writes that stuff. So, my ideal scenario is as follows: Haye wins in the 12th after a a slog fest, he's smashed to pieces, nose as flat as a squashed frog. Then as his hand is raised in the usual winners fashion, Vlad punches him square on the chin and knocks Haye spark out. Vlad takes the mic and announces his retirement. We all cheer..... Nette:-S

Well maybe, it's because he's actually looking into her eyes in the Canadian one. Where as the British one begs the question " When did you last take a shower " Ewww:-$

Dead fox in the stairwell at Nunhead Station
Annette Curtain replied to ElDuderino's topic in The Lounge
Dear Wilko Cheers for your website comment which we received on 20 June 2011. I am very sorry for the situation you describe at Nunhead Station on Monday 20 June, with a fekin dead fox in the stairwell which wasn't being dealt with. See, trouble is that the DEAD FOX locker was full which was extremely disappointing and I again apologise for that letting you and other passengers down so much. We certainly want to make sure that the station environment/Fox locker is empty & passengers waiting for their train services don't have to see a DEAD FOX. We do try to ensure that our stations are cleaned of Dead Foxes and maintained regularly. The Station Manager and his staff should make regular inspections of all public areas throughout the day, collecting up dead foxes in the morning when any problems/foxes are discovered, then our staff should try to rectify/hide these as quickly as possible. However, on this occasion it is clear that we failed to address/hide the problem you (and not doubt others) discovered a stinking carcass of a Dead fox. So I have brought your comments to the attention of the Station Manager, who will ensure that this issue is addressed as a priority. Once again, please accept my apologies for this poor situation, however I do blame the last government ( and why not ). I hope your future experiences at Nunhead are trouble/Fox free. Yours sincerely Yvonne Customer Relations/ dead fox Officer Southeastern -

I tend to think that those who > really love music can appreciate the best of any > genre/ type of music. I'm not sure the prejudice is aimed at her directly, it's more at the "Beyonce" package as a whole. Other artists get/suffer this too. The glaring publicity we get steam rollered at us has run out of superlatives & comparisons, so it starts to look fake and disingenuous. In fact it irritates the hell out of some people, to such an extent that we develop a near subconcious knee-jerk rejection of the artist. I personally have nothing against Beyonce but have I: Bought her records? NO Seen her live? NO Even downloaded a track on my i-tunes? NO However, I loved the show she did at Glasto. It was show business at its "showiest" & almost Vegas like. She is utterly gorgeous & talented. Had Evil Kneivil* leapt over the Pyramid with her on the back of a flaming harley-davidson, whilst singing, would I have been suprised ? probably not. So she and others suffer a "yeah, whatever" response to most of what they do. It's the flip side of over kill branding. It looks mega-corp, it feels mega-corp and it is mega-corp. And in that she's brilliant, absolutely excellent. Nette(tu) Evil Kneivil* I know.
