  1. It's been one of those weeks. I've had to be in each day for one or other service or delivery. Quite tedious but in a way perversely enjoyable. Monday = Business parcels 1/10 Tuesday = Business parcels 1/10 Wednesday a.m = Custom made rubber stamp 8/10 Wednesday p.m = Oh joy of joy, my new vacuum cleaner arrived. 1:))/10 Now, you'd think a vacuum cleaner is just a vacuum cleaner, but no. Since my Henry passed away with asthma motoritus i've not rushed into purchasing a replacement. "I'm doing some research" I said to the one who can't/won't be told. Well, i've tried a Dyson - Looks & acts like a dalek. I've tried a Kirby - great if you live in a stately home I've tried a panasonic-meh But finally I settled on a Meile S5211. Oh what a marvel, it's light, powerful & engineered like a Mercedes. I'm blown-sucked away by its utter fabulousness. Anyway, enough excitement ( you should see my stairs/hall/landing now ) Tomorrow: I look forward to the arrival of my i-phone 4S. The anticipation is killing me ( and now no doubt you). NETTE:))

On the left or the right, or how about one on each side with a lone poppy pushing higher up, waiting for the opportunity to be noticed. You could then have a row of four at the bottom. We could always argue "It's always been so in the Garden of England" Wadda-ya-think ? Nette:-S

  6. Has English footy become so shyte that the argument as to whether we wear a frikkin poppy over rides the actual "game of football" we play. Which of course is shyte. NETTE:X
  7. Thomas http://www.dvvs.vegangroup.co.uk/images/DVVS_poster%20small_9425.jpg?w=220 I'm a bit confused! See on your poster ( top leaf, left hand side ) It says "Are you vegan, veggie, pescetarian or just" Now, put me straight but aren't fish living-breathing-bleeding-animal-kinda-things. And aren't they farmed to death of the cost of scotland & in the med. What are that bunch doing in your "club" & if eating fish is ok, how about Whales ? I'm curious now as to what really qualifies. Last night I ate chicken with loads of steamed veg & mash potato ( all dairy free ) Am I a veggie or a "pollotarian" now ? Does that count/can I join ? NETTE:-S

The best one liner i've heard in ages. Posted by: Katienumbers in response to the poor Peckham joke. ( i've had a good ten minutes of "mutley" laughing over that one ) Nette:))

  12. Y-es I did start to watch it but it induced a bout of anxiety. ( though that could have coincided with the jazz fag I was smoking ) http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Observer/Columnist/Columnists/2011/1/21/1295609798701/Monica-Gellati-and-Michel-007.jpg :-S

  14. Jesus H Christ Has Jay Rayner reviewed it yet ? Nice bread though, but I hate the shop so much I go to West Dulwich to buy it. NETTE:-S
  15. Mind you I'd rather be hissed/laughed/prodded at in The Ritzy than my 'never again' experience at the i-max in Greenwich. Some people were texting and phoning each other whilst talking and generally having a party, as you do. One irate man-mountain of a parent decided to up the ante by going over and LOUDLY berating a crowd of chavs young people. For a moment I actually thought i'd come to the theatre not the cinema. I've had a simular experience in Wimbledon. Must be all the sweets & pop drinks they consume. ( I'm more down with the wine hysteria me ) Really though, why cant we have plug-in head phone sockets at the cinemas as an optional extra ? NETTE:-S

  17. Well... I think something happens to people in cinemas. We went to see the Woody Allen movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona & Woody's a humorous guy, right? So, at one particularly funny scene ( I know it's subjective ) my other half burst out laughing. The woman behind , all vintaged up, red beret, leant across & prodded my beloved on the shoulder & through her MASSIVE horse like teeth ( all surrounded with a shock of red lipstick ) She hissed "SSSSHhhhhhHsSSSHHH....HH" Which made the whole thing even funnier ( btw other people also laughed ) That wasn't you was it *Bob* ? NETTE:-S *Mind you it was at the Ritzy
  18. Oh that's great. He (Hitler) wasn't a Vegetarian but he was a Catholic. And don't tell me, he went to confession & ate fish on Friday. NETTE:-S
  19. Where's Thomas ? And yes, Tony Blackburn is a Vegetarian and a good advocate for them too. NETTE:)
  20. lanziying Rubbish & full of lazy-hot-aired-Americanisms. Couldn't you even be bothered to edit them out. -1/10 Oh and "Have a nice day" http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JYY-Z7ZTdGI/TZmhhc1oHkI/AAAAAAAAKWo/qG33-jXdb4s/s400/American_flag_burning.jpg NETTE(td)(td)(td)

But really Thomas your pique defies belief, you yourself said the following. I lightly rattle your cage and you flick out at me. However, I do indeed care about the animals I eat, in fact I look them in the eye for many months as I buy from a smallholder I work closely with in the Winter season. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/697/img4771r.jpg See these cattle ? I'll definitely be eating one of them ( that's me in the foreground shadow ) in about 2 + years time. I see how & where they live right up close. Trouble is Thomas, you can't see that people have a welfare conscience & a taste for such a beautifully kept beast. Now go bang your gong else where. NETTE(tu)

  25. The madder the whole euro-zone/global meltdown gets. The more believable Downton Abbey becomes. "Dinner is served, I mean cancelled "http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/05/article-2057990-0EACC7C800000578-93_634x447.jpg NETTE:)
