Erm... 5 eh?... my consistent/average score you mean? So the equivalent of not playing, I mean the 'penalty' to be awarded would, as things stand, to all intents and purposes, at this point in time, realistically, and going forward - be called "a maxxi"? As in: RD - "Oooh, after a strong start Otta's not been able to play this week, so he's had to settle for a maxxi!" OTTA - "Gutted." I've never rarely been so insulted! Now under Huge's system I flirted with 5th from bottom - ahh those heady days. Intelligent bloke that. Must be the Singapore air. Always liked him. *goes off to sit in corner and study cup form.

Saw my first young lad penny-for-the-guy-ing tonight. 5.30 outside a District Line tube station, freezing cold, dark and he looked cheesed off. A fair effort too. But I still ignored him. I'm a swine.

Whats the beginning of everything? Is there a beginning??
maxxi replied to simba's topic in The Lounge
The beginning was the end of the last beginning and simultaneously the beginning of the next end - just as the next beginning will be. -

After the last couple of days a maybe a foray into the FA cup (from 3rd round?)? Based on a knockout system with bottom two dropping out of each round up to the semi when (if the 11 above were all that entered there would be 3 left by then so 1 would drop out leavng 2 to contest final)? What do you mean some people's only chance of rescuing their season is a good cup run?!?? B) COYI

wait until cat is near flap, creep around behind wearing dog mask and scare the fur off it with realistic barking. cat will use flap. ETA: whispering not best option with this tactic.

A cat/dog would have been the perfect solution. Come on science guys, you put a man on the moon but can't give us cat/dogs!? Get weaving! -

I missed this edit "This thread is about our throwaway culture and the need for instant gratification at any cost" or I would have been even inaner. Open goal. -

Absolutely including me. I speak for myself and none other which is why I don't pronounce on what the Forum should say or do - I do not sprawl over the Family Room criticising talk of pushchairs and rarely make facile jokes in the Drawing Room but this is the Lounge and I like to give my inanities free range - @ Nette - I think I have seen pictures of Sabrina's rear extension and whilst there is a joke to be made about its suitability for her pussy I would hate to inflame things. It would be rash. Now that's inanity. -

"And should the Forum keep reminding them to continue to be responsible? Yes." Oh it should, should it? And you are the voice of the forum? The reason this thread is getting a hard time is that it is not about ED (hence it's place in the lounge alongside the blue wool ephemera) but rather about a woman in Putney doing something (legal) that someone objects to. Others do not. I do not. Maybe some people need 'reminding' that they don't speak for everybody. -

The Minkey Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > once a young animal has > outgrown its baby cuteness, it becomes so much > harder to rehome Exactly my point - so why bother going to all that trouble trying? And those poor deluded fools who still think their 4 year old mog is 'cute' should be made to face up to reality, get rid and get a younger model. A kitten is for cuteness, not for life. -

I can't see why Sabrina isn't taking the obvious option open to those who live so close to the river. -
Now the police are 'investigating' will the FA wait for a year or so before doing anything; and will Clattenburg be allowed to referee in the meantime? If he wasn't that would scream double standards surely? And if he was would there be another laughable issue with hand-shaking at matches? A lot of precedents have been set recently for players, will be interesting to see how the FA ensures this is treated 'differently'...blah blah 'special case' blah blah 'integrity of a referee's authority' blah blah 'no question of prejudgement but obviousy impossible for him to referee...' blah blah 'suspended on full pay"...

???? Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Maxxi 0 correct scores, 5 correct results - 5 > points > > It's not like the Hammers to be propping up the > table :) > After a crisis meeting at the pub with the cheapest lager Maxxi training ground, where there was a frank exchange of views and a round of 'clear the air' talks, a vote of confidence was quickly passed. Speaking afterwards Maxxi said "It's early in the season to be making these kind of rushes to judgement. There are elements that are still gelling and although correct scores have been thin on the ground we're confident of improvement now the clocks have gone back. We certainly won't be sacrificing the way we go about things just to satisfy a few moaners." Rumours that sponsors 'Belgian Supermarket Lager 12 Pack' are to pull out and that the season's budget has been invested in a bet on the Irons winning the FA Cup at 100/1 with BET365 are probably true.
