I think Payet may have done us a favour - sometimes you need a pantomime villain to unite the players, fans, manager and board - now let's sell him double quick and buy some new talent before the month gets old. Good to see Byram back in action.

I think Pardew would know what to do with the current squad - and wouldn't have a Benteke to deal with
  7. Lou's quite right - I've seen those 'look-at-me' little old ladies queuing outside the Post Office in the morning - before it's even open! Not to mention those 'look-I-use-public-transport!' types that love to be seen queuing at bus stops - bloody show offs.
  8. The NorthX Rd stop (southbound) that stops outside the chemists on LL is a request stop. Not sure if it's still the same but all request stops are usually red with white LT logo while other stops are white with red.

  12. Forget balls, go to that stall in NthX rd mkt and buy some of her little rainbow carrots - yes, they may be a bit of a fad and a bit pretentious but they taste very, very good and look pretty. Yes they do.

Even if it isn't I'd rather ground-share with Orient or feckin Milwall, whilst something was done to reintroduce the fans to the luxury of a pitch-side view, than face another season in this supperating wound of a 'home'.

'bout now Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- The hammers had a good 5 months. Well it's > over, normality is back and West Ham have returned > to being reassuringly shite, expect planetary > realignment soon. Exactly - shades of the 2006-07 season. After a pretty good 05-06 (ending in THAT final) form suffered; players who'd done well the year before went 'missing', manager seemed to lose control/confidence of the team, issues off the field were affecting players, players that were brought into the club weren't ready for the PL... That we have to play at an athletics stadium dressed up as a football ground is a novel twist that only a bulldozer can solve.

  20. Nandos. Had my first visit to one in Norwich a few weeks back. Didn't know the form so a colleague guided me through the self-help delights of multiple sauces and endless pop-refills. As an experience, I think I left it too late. Good to see you HB.
  21. I've been looking at the Uswitch site as thinking of switching to BT Infinity https://www.uswitch.com/broadband/speedtest/streetstats/ - makes for very interesting reading if accurate - anyone know if this map is reliable?

  23. Another big positive shout for the library - don't have Sky/Netflix etc. so this week am binge-watching season 6 of GOT on dvd for ?2.50 thanks to them - also often grab a book from their displays, usually something I would not have gone looking for but can grab on (the slightest of) impulse(s) without having to consider whether it's worth the jacket price.

  25. I want to know if this cob was cooked or not, was it grilled or boiled? Was it buttered? The thought of her nibbling (gnashing) on a raw 'ear' (with a nod of sympathy to certain ex heavyweight champions) makes my cheeky nibble of pizza crust whilst walking home seem a model of restraint. I suggest keeping a download of this in your phone and playing it (sans phones) should this occur again...
