The Wetherspoons is good, but not very family friendly despite having a family area. We were made to feel so uncomfortable by the staff that we left without finishing our food. I'd go there for a pint though. I like the caff on the high street by the post office with the yellow sign. Propa dirty. And having walked past The Crooked Billet many times thinking it looked rough as fuck, me and a mate went in there the other week and it was really friendly.

Aw that's a shame, I wanted to believe she'd been genuine. That and now Rolf. Bad day for legends. RE The Pixies, it's a similar story as the Springsteen one for me. Saw them a while back having never been a huge fan, and loved the gig. On the strength of that I downloaded a load of their stuff and really listened for a while. But with the exception of a few songs it just didn't grab me. Hadn't realised Kim Deal had left, she was the best thing about them. Think they could easily headline though.

I watched her on iplayer afyer rehearsal kast night. I think it was time delay. What would be the point in miming a whole one hour set with no breaks?

Bryan Adams is not without talent. I'm not a fan anymore than I'm a Springsteen fan, but you don't stay in the business that long without some talent.

I saw Bruce last summer at the Olympic Park, and really enjoyed it. Afterwards I thought maybe I should give his records another go. I've tried, I really have, but with the exception of a few songs, he just leaves me unmoved. But I'd watch him live again.

I was gutted to see Mexico lost. Didn't see any of the match, but when I checked the score at 75 minutes and saw it was 0-1 to Mexico I was pleased.
