  1. I found that those things tou plug in to the wall that make some noise that you can't hear helped quote a lot when we had this problem in an omd flat. Bit as your landlord is also the shop owner I think I'd want him to at least spkit the cost!
  2. Or something like this which is new. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=111383808827&alt=web Obviously won't be the best cello, but will be good enough for starters (depending on your daughter's age, I'm guessing she's primary age?). I just think people can end up spending a fortune renting instruments. I'd buy something cheap and cheerful, and as and when I was satisfied she was going to stick with it I'd upgrade. Sorry, I know that's not answered your actual question.
  3. Would you not be better off just buying a second hand one from ebay?

  5. Of course you can walk down the road using your phone, I do it all the time. And despite what cle thinks I think, I don't think that you're asking for it. But you do need to be very aware of what's going on around you for various reasons.
  6. Nah, Gerrard Lamps and Rooney is the way forward.

  8. He'll prob play Lampard and Gerrard behind Rooney.

  10. I hate myself right now, as I find myself sitting here wishing Italy to win.

She doesn't risk losing it in the loooooong term, but if she leaves and he's in situ it will be a total pain in the arse moving him out.
  12. Haha, my poor neighbour. I saw his flags this morning looking limp and pathetic as a drunk's cock.
  13. SJ, Have you ever taken the burger out, scraped it cleanish and tried it? I haven't either, but for me, the meat in a Maccas burger just adds chewyness. The hamburger tastes of their very sweet breat and their sauce. But I do believe their premium burgers "big tasty" et al are made with much better quality meat. But lately I have gone right off maccas for anything other than McMuffins, which I love!
  14. EP, I have to disagree about Bains coming forward. He tried but he just ran the ball in to dead ends most of the time. And the whole "Englamd Expects" thing is a joke. Why do "we" (apparently) expect anything?
  15. "A community cinema" haha. I think it's great, but come on.
  16. What SJ said, big time. Although Baines was pretty shit last night. Johnson had a pretty good match going forward, but he's still very iffy at the back. titch juicy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > he came inside often enough last night to no > effect Coming inside is different to being in there all the time IMO. But I'm not an expert I'll freely admit. Mick Mack, I assumed you were teasing, but couldn't let that go unanswered ;-)

" Well if you think it, then it must be right. I'm sure you know what I'm thinking a lot better than I do.

Besides, he's more > effective up the middle, but Rooney was there last > night and was our best player. That doesn't make any sense. It's not because defences worked him out, it's because, as you point out, he was played in a different position and didn't have the opportunity to do what he did against Italy.
  21. I saw this and thought of the EDF.

  23. Gerrard's first corner went straight to Suarez and I did wonder if he'd forgotten where he was for a second.
  24. Sterling should never have come off. Agree that this should be the end for Gerrard and England but to blame it all on him is bullshit and to say he is not a leader, also bullshit.
