    Bloidy hell, I missed the Liverpool match today, only to hear that I've missed Suarez at his best and worse. Think he may have booked his ticket out of Anfield. He's just got something wired wrong. Still the best individual player in the league tgis season though!

    I know several couples (including 2 married couples) who met through internet dating, and why not? It's bloody hard to go out and meet people. I remember a Swedish girl I used to know telling me a decade ago that it was how most people met back home, but in this country there seems to be some stigma about it. If I found myself single again, I'd definitely give it a go.

    When will people realise that special measures are a good thing! That's kind of the point. That woman in the paper is the stereotype that gives a lot of Dulwich mums a bad name, even though the majority are perfectly sane women.

    Indeed. At least she got a great result last year which must have made her feel a lot better, but a shame she never got to hear a new inquest.

    I know we're not talking about transport to school, but national guidelines state that transport should be provided for under 8s if they are further than 3 miles away. I think 3 miles is too much if you don't drive (even if you do really), but they could quote that figure when justifying their decisions. Basically, within 3 miles is considered acceptable.

    I'm quite surprised at a few facebook friends who are saying they didn't get any of their choices. It seems that in their cases they've picked the 6 best schools in their borough and expected to get in to one of them, then they're gutted when they get the local school. I'm over the moon our girl will go to the school round the corner. Genuine sympathy for those who have a school round the corner and are having to travel far though!

We're in Lewisham (Sydenham) and everyone in our daughter's preschool seems to have gotten first or second choices. Really sorry to hear this, how can they not be able to find a single space for you in 6 bloody schools, it's mad!

    I think Liverpool did that during my time there in the late 90s (er, nothing to do with my presense I hasten to add).

    The buildings in front of the station are a total eyesore, getting rid of them and having a nice open forecourt would be good IMO. That said, I hardly go near Peckham these days, so do what you want.

    So, Cardiff in the prem. Do their fans have a rep for trouble? I know a friend of mine says they're the worst, but he supports Bristol City, and they don't like each other.
