"Why does such an amoral character as Mike invoke much empathy?" I'm not sure I empathise with him, but they show him watching his granddaughter which shows a human side, and he tries hard to advise Walt / Jessie not to get in too deep. He also shows Walt up for th total fecker he starts to become. He also seems genuinely fond of Jessie for a while. "Walt was always evil, his cancer has just given him the courage to act on it"? Discuss I don't think he's evil, I think the point is that we all might be capable of stuff that wouldn't even occur to us in our every day family lives. He is a desperate man who starts out with good intentions he feels down trodden and over shadowed. As things move on he likes the feeling of power and control, but I think that he would be shocked to be called evil, and would have some justification for everything he's done (even if we might think it doesn't wash). Has anyone seen the link with teddy bear in the pool and later incidents (not the crash obviously) Damn it, I did think something about this, but can't remember what now. I'll get back to you. WTF is going to happen in the end? Hank will obviously work it out to some extent, but no idea where they'll take it from there. Walt to die, and Jessie to be the new kingpin at the end???

Mrs Otta has always used Lemsips whilst breastfeeding, with no issues. Not exactly a medical answer for you, but our girls are fine ;-)

I like Jessie best (or are we not allowed to pick Walt or Jessie?) and Hank's wife (Skylar's sister, whoes name escapes me).

Indeed. I always say that season 1 is like an extra long pilot, it really gets rolling as season 2 moves along. Seasons 3 & 4 are wicked!
-
Midway through season 3. (although I've watched it all before obviously) We'll have to discuss it over our next beer!
-
You've gone through it in record time TT! Don't forget that there are only 8 episodes (so far) of season 5 to watch, then you'll be like the rest of us, checking days off the calendar until the final (possibly) 8 episodes are shown on TV.

Carra to retire at the end of the season. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21371091 Probably the right time for him, he's far from what he once was. However, a few years back at his peak, I genuinely feel that he was unlucky not to be picked ahead of Terry & Rio for England. In a way he suffered for being versatile, as he never got the opportunity to make a particular position his own. Great player for Liverpool. (except when he scored 2 own goals for Man U when he was about 18/19)

Paper Man (2009) is a nice little film http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0437405/ Carnage (2011) The wife and I thought it was brill. Snorky hated it. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1692486/ Recently watched The Avengers, and enjoyed it far more than a man of my years really should. One to avoid is Man on a ledge. Thought it sounded cool, but realised within 5 minutes that it was going to be shockingly naff. Kept it on for a further 10 minutes or so, but there was no improvement. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1568338/

It's probably been mentioned before on here, but anyone who likes comedy and zombies must see Zombieland!

Same goes for the cheeky mini fillet burger from KFC, although I tend to save that for later (they're surprisingly good cold)

The Patriot was okay in a take braveheart script and rewrite for American war of independence kind if way. Basically make the English the evil bastards and give them a good kicking.

The wife insists that it's better than Utterly Buttery. (or whatever it's called)

What those two said. So come on, who always buys an extra cheeseburger to go with their meal? I miss their chocolate doughnuts.

Stranger tryed to force child in car this morning (Feb 5th)

What LadyD said! Why do some people have to be such knobs on this forum? Someone started a thread about an incident that had been reported on national news yeasterday, just to warn people to be vigilant. No you don't need more info and an accurate description of the man, you just need to know that a man tried to bundle a child in to a car, and take extra care. -
People just wanted t see it sink; simple as thar

Not saying he's up there with some of those greats, but I don't think you hear Macca's name mentioned often enough. He was great at Liverpool, pretty good for England (important part of the 96 side) but mostly he's a very rare Englishman who had the guts to go abroad, played for a top team, and made an impact. Shame injuries caught up with him, but that is common for a lot of the "Spice Biys" for whatever reason. The p

Is there an option to report him? -

Raiders is the best of the bunch, and they went downhill with each film after that. Saying that, I quite enjoy Temple of doom. They are fun, just not great IMO. I'd rather watch Romancing the Stone from that sort of era of Action/ Adventure film.

Yeah that soggy light pink, fat not even remotely crip (impossible to break with your teeth, and can choke you) type bacon is evil!

I don't particularly count any Indie film as worthy to be honest. Fun, but that's about it.

"One of the things that really annoyed me about the prequels (other than the awful acting, stupid plots, and terrible characters) was the general look of the films and the unrealistic CGI. They need to get back to using physical sets and scale models." ^^^ This! RE: Star Trek, I admit to being (at the time) a big fan of Next Gen & DS9, but the films with the next gen crew were basically a bit crap, and the latest film with the young Kirk, Spock & Co definitely breathed new life in to it. One would assume that chapter 7 will have to move the timeline forward though. Harrison Ford was up for revisiting Indie not long ago, so can't see why he wouldn't be up for revisiting Han Solo. Obviously Chewie and the droids will be about.
-
One would assume that at least one or 2 of the original characters will have to appear at least in chapter 7 (Luke, Han, Leia), will be interesting to see whether the original actors could be convinced to make an appearance. Mark Hamill would surely love the chance to redeem himself after his portrayal of Cock-Knocker in Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back! As has been said, after episodes 1-3, these don't have a lot to live up to. Revenge of the sith could and should have been so good (because we all wanted to see the transformation to Vader), but it just wasn't.
