  1. First, create the folder, if you haven't already (on the PM screen, click on "edit folders" on the left hand side, and it's self explanatory from there). Then,go to inbox, tick the boxes next to the messages you want to move, scroll to the bottom, select the folder you want to move them to, from the drop down which will now be on the bottom right. Click "move".
  2. Your little boy is very cute, do you mind if I take a photo?
  3. I just think it's very sad that we live in a society, where our first thought is that someone must be a pervert. I am not a naive person, and whatever their reason for filming, they certainly should've asked for consent first. However, it seems that people are all too quick to jump from filming a kid playing in the park, to filming a kid playing in a park, because you're a weird perv.
  4. I agree with Any & DaveR. It does sound a bit weird, but your description does sound like it could be a father and son, so perhaps their story was true. That said, good work for bringing it up, and hopefully, everyone will just watch out a bit more.
  5. I understand that must be difficult for you, but at the end of the day, you're paying her to clean. Whether you need her for longer or not, is really another issue. If she has "cleaned" something, and it's not clean, then she's not doing what you're paying her for.
  6. If standards have actually dropped, just point it out to her and see what she has to say.

    PM Storage problem

I think you should put it back to 300. I am sorry, but that is more than enough for anyone, and I don't see why the forum should have to be slower for everyone just because a few people don't delete their messages. How about a sticky thread to announce you're going to do it, so that people can't complain that they had no warning (as it would seem that by giving the community a great free resource, you've become answerable to EVERYONE).

Surely 300 PMs is more than enough?!?

  15. Yeah, this was on the radio this morning. Bloody Tory council! They're trying to say that half of the visitors to the playground are from neighbouring boroughs. In which case, if that is their justification, they should at least allow families from within Wandsworth, who pay for the bloody payground through their council tax, to enter for free, and charge outsiders. Don't get me wrong, I don't think anyone should be charged for using a public playground, but I think it's especially poor form for those who pay for council services in their area.
  16. Tale of time city. If we're talking classics, why not The Children of the New Forest?

  21. To be fair, everyone kissed and made up.
  22. Was impressed with the way the Irish bloke bullied his way out of the bottom 3.
  23. Disagree with that, I think that is pretty much the worst part of it.
  24. Typical NCT "life smells of roses" drivel. My wife has had more issues with my mum, than her own. My mum can be a bit needy, and insecure, and just always tends to push things a bit too far. It does my head in, but I know it's not malicious. My wife isn't so sure, and seems to think that there are womanly games afoot (a thing that I am quite glad I know nothing about, you women are all far too complex). Her relationship with her own mum about parenting is very good, and that is probably because her mum was a hippy, and did everything the "attachment parenting" way, so basically, my wife is doing most of the same things. My mum on the other hand just did things the way that one did things in the late 70s, and that is probably where the conflict comes from. I think you only need to look at threads on here, to see that people are very protective of their personal choices about parenting. To routine, or not routine. Controlled crying great / controlled crying evil, and so on. And I have noticed that a lot of women can get a little bit judgemental about people from the opposite camp to them. I suspect that this is often the reason for strained relations with mum's mums. One would like to think that your mother will be very supportive of you, but they probably think that they're just giving you a bit of friendly advise, because they've been there, and seemed to manage okay, and you're not a mentalist, so they must've done a good enough job. You have my sympathies, as it can't be a good situation.
  25. I wouldn't mention it to my friends, but really, the housing stock in pretty much every surrounding area, is nicer than that of ED.
