See ??? More cars = more traffic = more parking = more drama I have zero problem with cars or driving ( or ruffers!!) but when people say things can't be done or don't get done because of some minor inconvenience... It's not about cars either. Not really. It's a metaphor for modern thinking.

There is something in what you say about choosing a style as opposed to ethnicity, so in that sense it might be perceived as clumsy and if it dd bother you, I apologise But a prejudice is still a prejudice surely? What happened in your younger days is no doubt a truth, but it's anecdotal and doesn't really square with the fact that many geezers are no better/worse than anyone else

God I hate the ugly side of the forum Even cackling at them from the sidelines for being middle-class and white is bad enough But to accuse someone who is going to spend rest of their lives haunted what happened that night of doing it themselves, and travelling the world as a holiday, on someone elses dime?
