THe RFU dealt quickly with two players recently 'accused' of indisgressions in the eyes of the law. They were both dropped. Seems to me to be the right approach as guilty or innocent there is likely to be some smoke if there is fire. If they are innocent then they can say it's just our policy in dealing with players who have been charged with an offence. Until doubt is removed the right thing is to drop a player, not just take the captaincy away. As for Terry's case being adjourned for so long, are their legal reasons for it or can the defence apply for it?

I had to re-read Otta's post. First time I thought he said plenty on managers could keep them up. Speed reading I was. I'm not sure it's good idea for managers to get a percentage of the sale of a player. They may have improved a players worth but isn't that what good managers are paid to do anyway?

I'd expect Ireland to win their 3 home games, lose to France as we always do in Paris and beat England as we usually do. The question is who will beat France. Possibly Wales or even Scotland who are improving. England are in transition and I can't see how the bookies rate their chances better than Ireland's. Putting my neck out I predict France to win 4 games and win the Championship on points difference from Ireland.22 to be more precise!

I don't understand why people should be paid more. If they are doing overtime they will be paid. As for working under more pressure, either you can do the job or you can't. What are tube staff expecting they will have to do that they wouldn't expect to be doing as part of their job anyway? I think they are looking for money 'for old rope' if I understand this expression correctly.
