  1. You wouldn't be throwing a dummy there maxxi by any chance?

  3. You're in ????'s, though I'm not sure why you've gone straight to the top of the table. You'd probably say 'habit'!
  4. Still a day to enter so please do. This week's fixtures are: Saturday Scotland v Ireland 14.25 England v France 16.50 Sunday Italy v Wales 14.00
  5. Don't think I've ever got more correct results than outcomes. I don't know if I should continue with my new 'technique' or put the di(ce) away :)
  6. You been getting coaching Foxy? :)
  7. malumbu Wrote: > > But somebody most be specifying/ordering cheap > nasty pens from a Chinese factory The Chinese have to import the balls for ball point pens. Just something I read recently. https://www.marketplace.org/2015/12/10/world/why-cant-china-make-good-ballpoint-pen

  9. The irrelevant one was sent after the one with the bank details.
  10. That's plausible apart from the bit I didn't mention. On the same day she received another email from 'me' which I would have had no reason to send.It had an attachment which related to an entirely different company. When she sent this fake email to me I saw it was from the same source as the previous one. From this I deduced the problem was at our end. However the purpose of this 2nd fake email doesn't make any sense as it had nothing to do with a request for payment or contained anything particularly confidential.
  11. Can anyone throw light on what happened here? In December I emailed a client in Poland our work bank details. Some weeks later I found out from my contact in that company that several hours after my email arrived she received another one, which appeared to come from me but with different bank details. This is where she made a payment to. She sent me the 2nd email she had received and on opening it and choosing 'reply' I saw the actual address for me was '[email protected]'. Not my address. My work PC was taken out of operation. However we have still no idea what has happened apart from something fraudulent. I don't know how my work PC was compromised so it is all a bit of a mystery. Any ideas?
  12. Just bumping this up as I feel everyone should enter........where have I heard something like that recently? Anyway, everyone is welcome to play this very easy prediction game. this is the link to register: https://www.superbru.com/home/index.php
  13. Ah go on Quids, tell us your technique. (smiley thing here)
  14. Six nations coming up. I'm looking forward to a good game between Scotland and Ireland though Sexton has been ruled out. Glasgow play an exciting brand of rugby and Ireland have changed their style too. The 4 writers in The Times on Sunday predicted no one to win the Grand Slam and 3-1 England/Ireland to win overall. I read another article by one of them who doesn't think the new (to the 6N's) points bonus points system will make any difference in terms of tries scored. We'll see. I prefer it to simple points difference deciding the overall winner as happened a couple of seasons ago. If there's one weak team and there usually is, by the time the last game comes around they are usually weaker still and prone to conceding a lot of points.
  15. Time for my new 'technique'. It may not last long.
  16. Kamikaze pilots and suicide bombers had the courage of their convictions. Doesn't mean they were right though. Nothing refreshing at all seeing an ego maniac at work.
  17. As the other petition stating Trump should make a state visit is on the verge of smashing 100,000 signatures, what happens now? Call it a draw and ignore both would be my choice.
  18. Some interesting stats on Americans killed by Muslims and Americans killed by Americans since 9/11 http://www.vox.com/world/2017/1/27/14412420/terrorism-muslims-america-islam-trump
  19. He he.......another petition https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/178844
  20. I personally delivered papers to the County Court last year as they lost the first lot. If memory serves me correctly they wouldn't actually sign for them, but just insisted I put them in this large letterbox inside the building. I phoned the court later to seek confirmation that they had been registered as received.
  21. It would be good to have just one Trump thread as there are a lot of different aspects to his presidency and we don't need a thread for every one. As for a state visit, wasn't that to be expected given the UK needs the US and him onside? What is the point of objecting? May has just done an arms deal with Turkey. Object about that too. It is at least as distasteful.

  23. Six entries so far. Feel welcome to join. See previous post for link and please use your forum name. This is how points are scored in the game: http://www.superbru.com/sixnations/how_to_play_scoring.php
  24. God you must be old malumbu. Black and white photograph of who? Bill Shankly?
