I received a letter from the council today asking for feedback on the proposal to extend the market. It doesn't affect me so I've no issues with it. Just posting this in the event some people haven't received the letter and it does affect them.

Very little. I've got a box set of Springsteen live 75-85. Only a couple others. Sold everything I did have before coming here.

I've got some I want to offload. Haven't been used in 25 years or more. How can I tell if they are in good condition as I don't have a record player (what I used to call them anyway)? Might they be damaged other than with scratches and are scratches visible to the untrained eye? Any expert advice out there please?

In law I think the goods on display would be considered as an invitation to treat. Those out back not so I would hazard a guess, as they are not on display. If that's correct there is no reason for them to offer you anything 'out back'.

Isn't spending here dictated by where it's going to win votes?

I don't pay attention to adverts. The only thing I dislike about it is that there has got to be people out there with kids who just can't afford to give them what they would like to. Actually there's one thing I hate about it, and that's people talking about it feckin months in advance.
