  1. *Caw said the crow*.........probably a bit obscure. Anyone finish it?
  2. Prosthetic leg?
  3. James, I think Dulwich Fox lives nearer to NCR than I do. I got a letter. As they (the council) obviously want this to happen, perhaps they are only writing to people who don't live close to the road and will have no objection. It's more money for the council I presume.
  4. Are there any DRINKING establishments any more? Is it not more like 'how can we make a profit' establishments? Not that I think parents shouldn't control their kids in a place often frequented by adults without kids.
  5. I don't live that close to it to be bothered. Didn't know there was another thread so apologies for starting another one.
  6. I received a letter from the council today asking for feedback on the proposal to extend the market. It doesn't affect me so I've no issues with it. Just posting this in the event some people haven't received the letter and it does affect them.
  7. You never had a kid as a life choice Louisa? Be thankful your parents did.
  8. I'll have it....the wine I mean.
  9. If any of you predictors are interested and don't know about it, Sky's Super 6 is free to play. Seems two guys predicted 6 out 6 correct scores in midweek. There's a tiebreak where you predict the minute the first goal is scored. So one guy should have won ?250k. ?5k for the best score each week. All games are Saturday 3pm KO's. Here's the link: https://super6.skysports.com/

Well he might have if he got the chance
  11. As RD said previously, wait till the luck runs out.........
  12. The first question to the PM yesterday at PMQ's. It's about Boris. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b085z8g5/prime-ministers-questions-14122016
  13. Why not camp outside overnight and beat the queues?

I find that interesting. Do you mean as opposed to a 'potential' abduction or have I not read something? If you do, it sounds like police speak for not really knowing what the motive was.
  15. When is tea time in this country? It used to be when I now have my dinner, which used to be when I now have my lunch. Has the government got rid of it?
  16. Need to be there for a 6am flight, so it will be early......
  17. I no....teddy
  18. I predict teddyboy will edit his post.
  19. Agree with Otta's point. The fact is no one who has posted knows the facts.
  20. Want to explain what your grudge is? It's a pointless thread otherwise.
  21. Trees don't produce the pollutants the article refers to. Saying they increase pollution just isn't true.
  22. What a crap article that is, if that's what it's supposed to be.
  23. Very little. I've got a box set of Springsteen live 75-85. Only a couple others. Sold everything I did have before coming here.
  24. I've got some I want to offload. Haven't been used in 25 years or more. How can I tell if they are in good condition as I don't have a record player (what I used to call them anyway)? Might they be damaged other than with scratches and are scratches visible to the untrained eye? Any expert advice out there please?
